<br />The minutes of the meeting held Sept.16th.
<br />, 1912, were read, and upon motion of
<br />Trustee Hynding,
<br />seconded by Trustee Hahir and carried, the same were approved.
<br />A communication from the San Mateo Count
<br />Y Development Association, relative to laws
<br />of roadways throw
<br />providing for donstruction incorporated cities, was, on motion of
<br />i
<br />Trustee Hahir, seconded by Trustee Hynding and carried, referred to the City Attorney , to
<br />digest and report on later.
<br />A communication from the Secretary of the League of California Municipalities
<br />relative to the passing oP a resolution favorin Constitutional Amendment r
<br />g � $, Home Rule
<br />Taxation", was taken under advisement and referred to the Finance Committee, upon motion of
<br />Trustee Mir, seconded by Trustee Hynding and carried.
<br />A complaint from E.L.Bresse, in the matter of water meter bursting and water
<br />hammering, was referred to the mechanical engineer to remedy the same.
<br />On motion of Trustee Deleau, seconded by Trustee Hahir-and carried, the Clerk
<br />was authorized to purchase one copy of the'Troeeedings of the 0onvention of League of
<br />Municipalities, 1912p..
<br />The report of J.N.winter, Chief of the Fire Department, on the recent Convention
<br />of Fire Chiefs, held at Los Angeles, was, on motion,of Trustee Hynding, seconded by Trustee
<br />Deleau and carried, received and filed.
<br />A petition signed by about two hundred and fifty names, requesting the Board to
<br />amend ordinances requiring all Class A liquor dealers to close their places of business
<br />on Sunday nights at six P.M. , until the regular hour of opening on Monday morning, and not •o h
<br />have any more Special Permits issued, was on motion of .Trustee Deleau, seconded by Trustee
<br />Hahir, and carried, received and filed.
<br />A motion by Trustee Hahir, seconded by Trustee Sampson, that the request of the
<br />Petitioners
<br />Aexienepa be granted, and the City Attorney be directed to prepare an ordinance covering
<br />the regdest of the petitioners, and in addition that no sale of liquors be allowed in
<br />restaurants from 6P.M. on Sunday evenings, to Manday morning at 5 JLM*
<br />The motion was carried by the following vote.
<br />Ayes, Trustees Deleau, Hahir, Sampson and Merrill.

<br />On motion of Trustee Sampson, seconded by Trustee Mir, the matter of
<br />Repairing Hose House No.l, was referred to Trustee Hynding, with power to,aet.
<br />On motion of Trustee Hynding, seconded by Trustee Sampson and carried, the
<br />Supt, of Streets was authorized to extend the sewer on Heiler Street to Charter line.
<br />On motion of Trustee Hynding, seconded by Trustee Deleau, and carried, the Supt.
<br />of Streets was authorized to purch
<br />ase 1 car load of easorted sizes of sewer pipe.
<br />A communication from Baldwin & Howell relative to the acceptance , when finished,
<br />of certain streets in Dingee Park, as oiled and macadam streets, was, oll motion of Trustee
<br />Deleau, seconded by Trustee Hahir, and carried, received and filed.
<br />The application of Emil Larsen,
<br />laid over from former meeting, for a permit for
<br />a class A liquor license accompanied by bond, recommendation and publishers affidavit,
<br />Mas granted, upon motion of %rustee Hynding,
<br />seconded by Trustee Sampson, and carried.
