<br />On,mgtion of Trustee Deleau, seconded by Trustee Hahir and carried the bid, of The
<br />First,Natlonal Bank for the six thousand (6,000) dollar improvement, at par with accrued intere,e:
<br />and a premium of twelve dollars and a h 91f, (x12.50) was accepted.
<br />RESOLUTION ON SALE OF MUNICIPAL IMPROVEMENT BONDS OF 1913,
<br />Trustee Deleau introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption.
<br />WHEREAS ,
<br />The Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City did, on the 13th,day of March,
<br />1913, at a regular meeting of said Board, pass and adopt a resolution determining that
<br />the municipal improvement bonds of 1913, of said Town, in the amount of six thousand
<br />(x6,000) dollars, being the bonds issued for certain public municipal improvements in
<br />said Town, in pursuance of a special election held in said Town on the 24th,day of
<br />January, 1913, be sold on the 7th,day of April, 1913,at the hour of eight o!clock
<br />P.M. of that day, and did in said resolution order and direct the Clerk of the Town of FedW00d
<br />to give and publish a notice of the sale of said bonds, said notice to be published for
<br />printed
<br />two weeks in the Times—Gazette, a weekly newspaper, published and pInted in said Town,
<br />and did in said tesolution direct and instruct said Clerk to notify the State Board of 6
<br />Control and the State Treasurer of the State of California, at the Capitol at Sacramento
<br />of the issuance and. sale off said bonds in the manner required by law; and
<br />WHEREAS,
<br />It appears to said Board of Trustees that the Clerk of said Town has duly
<br />notified the State Board of Control and the State Treasurer of the State of California
<br />at the Capitol at Sacramento , of the issuance and sale of said bonds, in the manner
<br />required by the provisions of the Political Code of the State of California, and
<br />WHEREAS,
<br />This is the time and place in which said resolotion and notice is fixed for the
<br />sale of said bonds, and said Board having received a bid from the First Natlonai Bank
<br />of San Mateo County, offering to take all of said bonds, and to pay therefor the sum of
<br />par, accrued interest to the date of delivery, and a premium of 012.50; and which said
<br />bid of the First National Bank of San Mateo County appearing to said Board to be the
<br />highest and, best bid for said bonds,
<br />NOW THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED,
<br />by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City,
<br />that the bid of The First National Bank of San Mateo County, for the whole issue of said
<br />municipal improvement bonds of 1913 of said Town, numbered from one (1) to twenty (20)
<br />both numbers inclusive, aggregating six thousand (61000) dollars, be, and they are sold
<br />to The First National Bank of San :Mateo County, for the sum of par, accrued interest to
<br />the date of delivery, and a premium of X612.50 , and
<br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED,
<br />that the Treasurer of said Town, u on the payment of said sum of
<br />par, accrued interest to the date of delivery, and a premium of $12.50, into the Town
<br />Treasury of said Town by the said "The First National Bank of San Mateo County", be,
<br />and he is hereby directed to deliver to said "The First National Bank of Ban Mateo County
<br />the said Municipal Improvement Bonds of 1913 of said Town.
<br />Trustee Hahir seconded the motion.
<br />Passed and adopted by the., -Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City at a regular
<br />meeting of said Board held on the 7th,day of April, 1913, by the following vote,
<br />Ayes, and in favor of the passage of said Resolution,
<br />Trustees, Hahir, Deleau, Hynding, Sampson and Merrill.
