iia ; <br />'1 <br />Redvood.City, A7ril 16th,19139 $ o'clock P.M. <br />The regular.adjourned meeting of the Board of Town Trustees was held. <br />Upon roil call there were present Trustees Pre.5.(jeo.A.Merr111, Geo.A.Deleau, <br />J.J.Hahir, C.J.Hynding, E.H.Sampson and Town Clerk, G.C.Plump. <br />A communication from the local branch of the Red Cross Society,'thanking the Board <br />for the recent donation for the Flood sufferers, was received and filed. <br />A communication fron Dr.N.C.Cummings relative to sewers in the Eastern Addition was <br />read, received and filed for Future consideration and the matter referred to the City Attovney. <br />The following petition from the Horstman Chembeal Co. was presented. <br />To the Honorable Board of Trustees <br />of the Town of Redwood City, <br />Gentlemen, <br />Application is hereby made by the <br />Horstman Chemical Co. , for a permit to extend spur track from our property , Block k5, <br />Eastern Addition, Redwood City, across Buckeye St. <br />Respectfully, <br />Horstman Chem:6ea1 Co, <br />By, P.McKay, Supt. <br />Upon motion of Trustee Sampson, seconded by Trustee Hynding and carried, the <br />application of the Horstman Chemical Co.., was granted to the curb line on the easterly lin) <br />Buckeye St., at the pleasure of the Board and with the understanding that people on the <br />other side be permitted to use the same. <br />A communication from the Tourist Ass in was received and filed and referred b the <br />Board of Trade. <br />The following report of the Street Committee was presented. <br />To the Honorable members of the Board of Town Trustees, <br />Gentlemen,. <br />Your Committee appolntod <br />to inspect the sidewalk and curb work proposed to be constructed this year, beg leave to roport <br />that they made an examination of the proposed work, and in their opinion the work should <br />proceed as heretofore outlined. <br />Dated, April 16th.,1913. <br />J.J.Hahir. <br />C.J.HYnding. <br />Geo.A.Deleau. Committee. <br />Trustee Hynding moved that the action taken in the matter of certain macadam <br />sidewalks on west side of Jackson St. from s.P.R.R. Right of way to County Road, and. Frank' -In <br />street from Jefferson to Jackson, at the meeting held April 7th. 19139 be rescinded and the <br />same be included, in Resolution. Motion seconded by Trustee Hahir and carried. <br />Upon motion of Trustee Deleau, seconded by Trustee Hahir and carried, the supt.of SNreets wl <br />authorized to employ labor to remove mistletoe from oak trees on public streets. <br />Upon motion of Trustee Hahir, seconded by Trustee Deieau and carried, the supt.of Sts. was <br />authorized. to construce a twelve foot fence at flomd gate$ on Broadway. <br />
