<br />Roll Call. Present Trustees, President Geo.A.Merrill,Robt.Brown, C.J.Hynding,T.C.Riee,
<br />Carl Beeger, Absent,Town Clerk G.C.Plump. .
<br />President Merrill appointed Trustee Beege�? Clerk pro tem.
<br />In.the matter of Claim of Qeo.C.Ross in reference to his claim of overcharge on water
<br />furnished the Mazes property,water Collector Christ reports same due to leakage of toilet.
<br />Trustee Brown,seconded by Trustee Rice,moved that the bill in ctuestion be reduced from
<br />#15.00 to $10.00. Motion carried.
<br />In the matter of the laying bf water pipe on willow Street. Trustee Riee,seconded by
<br />Trustee Brown,moved that the Clerk be authorized to advertise for laying 1200 feet more or
<br />less of 4 inch waster pipe on willow Street and vicinity. Motion carried,
<br />Trustee. Brown, seconded bit Trustee Rice,moved the adoption of Ordinance No.879An Ordin-
<br />ance amending an Ordinance. entitled Ordinance No.6$.,prescribing and fixing the salaries
<br />and compensation of certain officers of the Town of Redwood City,ete. Recorded in Or-
<br />dinance Book No. 2 page 22 Motion carried.
<br />Trustee Rice,seoonded by Trustee Brown,moves the adoption of Ordinance No.68. An Or-
<br />dinance relating to the location of warehouse and tankage for the storage of Petroleum and
<br />its products. Recorded in Ordinance Book No. 2 page 23. Motion carried.
<br />Trustee Hynding, seconded by Trustee Rice,moves the introduction of Ordinance No. .39
<br />granting permission to the Standard Oil Company to locate ,erect,operate and maintain oil
<br />storage tanks on .Lots No. 13114,15 in Block NO -7 in the Eastern Addition to the Town of
<br />Redwood City. Motion carried.

<br />Mr Smart of the Telephone Company was present and stated,that the deposit demanded
<br />by the Company is only enforced in cases where the applicant is a so-called "transient's.
<br />Mr smart gave his assurance to work in harmony with the Board of Town Trustees:and express-
<br />ed his willingness to adjust any differences that may occur in future,satisfaetorily,and
<br />having explained his Company+s position in reference to the 05,00 fee,the matter was diems
<br />missed.
<br />Chairman Merrill brought up the matter of the City reservoir. ee Hynding,second-
<br />rust
<br />ed by Trustee Brown,moves that the representatives of Baldwin & Howe Trustee
<br />st requested to
<br />bring up the embankment in front of reservoir to within 3 feet of top of the dam. Motion
<br />carried.
<br />Chairman Merrill reports having obtained Abstract of title on parts of Railroad Avenue
<br />Trustee Hynding, seconded by Trustee Rice,moves that the action of the Chairman in so
<br />doing be approved. Motion 49rried.
