<br />Ordinance No. 87,
<br />Trustee Rlee,seconded by Trustee Brown,moves the.intr6duction of Ordinance No. 87, -
<br />an Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 68 relative to the Marshal's salary. Motion carried.
<br />Ordinance No. 88.
<br />Trustee Hynding,.seconded by Trustee Brown,moves the introduction of ordinance No. 88
<br />an Ordinance relating to the location of warehouse and tankage for the storage of Petrol-
<br />eum and its products. Motion carried.
<br />Trustee Rice,seconded by Trustee Brown,moved that application of S.P.R.R. Co.for
<br />sewer connection from freight shed be granted. Motion carried.
<br />Trustee HYnding, seconded by Trustee Rice, moved that the superintendent of streets and
<br />City Engineer arrange with Engineers of Southern Pacific Railroad Company in the matter
<br />of establishing grade for railroad. Motion carried.
<br />Trustee Hynding, seconded by Trustee Brown,moved that the following rate be charged
<br />for Town Maps.
<br />Maps mounted ............ $4.00 each.
<br />Maps unmounted .......... 01.75 each. Motion carried.
<br />Trustee Rice,seconded by Trustee Brown,moved that Map and -Resolution of °Homestead
<br />Addition No. 2 to Redwood City" be adopted. Motion carried.
<br />Whereas,the Moxey Realty CompanY,a corporation have this day presented to the Board
<br />Trustees of the Town of Redwood City,state of California,a certain map entitled, *Home steac.
<br />Addition No. 2 To Redwood City°,and said map being in all respects prepared as required by
<br />law, now
<br />Therefore be it reaolved,that the following pubiis street s,highwaYs and avenues upon
<br />said map delineated and set forth,to-wit: Oak Avenue. and Gordon etreet,be,and the same are
<br />hereby accepted on behalf of the public by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood
<br />City,as dedicated to public use; and the Clerk of this Board is directed to endorse upon
<br />said map said acceptance.
<br />And Be It Further Resolved,that this resolution be adopted and said map accepted upon
<br />and subject to the express condition that the Town of Redwood City does not hereby become
<br />responsible or liable for any cost,charge or expense either for grading,macadamizing, or
<br />for any other road purpose,as to any of said streets, highways and avenues,this condition a
<br />to the incurring of costs,charges or expenses,being left to the discretion of future
<br />Boards of Trustees,no one of sald-.Boards,of Trustees,or any. member thereof,or said Town of
<br />Redwood CitY,shall ever be liable to damages In any sum or amount arising by or through
<br />s any defect of any kind in said streets,highways or avenues.
