<br />Trustee Hynding,seconded by Trustee Riee,moved that Superintendent of Streets be authgr-
<br />ized to purchase two additional carloads of rock,not to exceed $100. Motion carried,.
<br />Mr Neubert,representative of United Gas and Electric Company,reports that lighting sys-
<br />tem is rest ored,and invites inspection of same.
<br />Trustee Rice,seeonded by Trustee Brown,moved that Lohman & Co.be employed to inspect.-
<br />new system of poles as reported by Mr Neubert, Motion carried.
<br />Trustee Rice,seconded by Trustee Brown,moved that Superintendent of streets be instruct-
<br />ed to clean up county Road near Dingee ParK,ditch at Five Points and lot in rear of Town
<br />Hall,and to post signs notifying persons not to deposit garbage on said places. Motion
<br />carried,
<br />Ordinance No. 89.
<br />Trustee Hynding$seconded by Trustee Rice,moVed the adoption of Ordinance No. 89; An
<br />Ordinance granting to the Standard Oil company permission to locate, erect, operate and ma:
<br />tain any warehouse or tankage ,or both,on bots 13,14 and 15 in Block No.7,1n the Eastern
<br />Addition to the Town of Redwood CitY,for the storage of petroleum and its products. In-
<br />troduced December 13th 1909. Motion carried

<br />cations for laying cast iron water pipe.

<br />All pipes, tees, crosses, plugs, gate valves and hydrants together with oakum and lead to
<br />be furnished on the ground by thea Town of Redwood City. All other material to be furnish
<br />by the Contractor.
<br />Trenching.

<br />The trenches for the pipes shall be opened as directed by the Super:hntendent of
<br />Streets of the Town of Redwood City,and to line and grade given by him. The general depth
<br />Will be such that the axis Of the pipe when laid will be two and one half (2') feet below
<br />the surface of the ground. Additional excavation shall be made when necessary without any
<br />extra compensation. In all places the bed of the trench must be dug true,elen,and. uniform,
