<br />Totem Clerk G.C.Plump. Absent,Trustee Carl Beeger.
<br />Communication from H.A,Carroll ,owner of property corner of.Main Street extension and
<br />Franklin Street relative to the proposed macadamizing of said streets,and for the exten-
<br />sion of fain Street to the County Road. The Clerk is to reply to Mr Carroll explaining
<br />that the Board was working along these lines and at the proper time the improvements .
<br />suggested.would have their attention.
<br />Ordinance No. 91.
<br />An Ordinance providing for the incurring of a bonded indebtooness of the Town of Red-
<br />wood City, Calif ornia,in the sum of forty-two thousand five hundred (ft421500.00) dollars,
<br />to pay the cost of certain municipal improvements and providing for the issuance of bonds
<br />of said Town evidencing such indebtedness. Trustee Brown,seoonded by Trustee Rice ,moved
<br />the introduction df said ordinance. Motion carried by the following vote.

<br />Mr Sampson reports on proposed brid.ge.at East Bradford and Holder Streets. Mr Hanson,
<br />of Tacoma Lumber Co. is ready to go forward with his agreement to furnish lumber and
<br />rights -f way as soon as a few more details are settled at a meeting of the company.
<br />Trustee Browm,seconded by Trustee Rice,moved that Street Superintendent be instructed
<br />to remove dirt off sidewalk on Mound Street near railroad. Motion carried,
<br />President of Board reports on request Of Redwood City Woman's Club to name committee
<br />of five,to act in conjunction with otheYs to be anpolntPd,in the matter of the celebration
<br />of completion of Dumbarton Out Off that owing to the uncertainty of date and the Clubs
<br />wish not to interfere with the 4h Of July Celebration,he would appoint committee later.
<br />Claim No. 333,amount $579.92,of Redwood City Water Co,for water furnished. from Jan-
<br />uary 12th to 31st,at the rate of 12JO per thousand gallons,was approved by the Finance
<br />! Committee. Trustee Hynding, seconded by Trustee BrowM,moved that the claim be alloyed
<br />and a warrant be drawn on Treasurer for payment of same, Motion carried.
<br />Trustee HvndAnrf,soconded by Trustee BrOwm,moved that the City Clerk invite bids for
<br />the constru tion of a fence to enclose reservoir grounds,as per specifications on file

<br />Town Treasurer be authorized to secure safe deposit box,or to take other means that their
<br />Judgment may deem proper for the security of Towns funds. Motion carried. �
