<br />d R e s o 1 v e d, that the Clerk of the Town of Redwood City give and cause to be Pub-
<br />lished- a
<br />ub-lished•a notice of sale of municipal bonds of said Town in the amount of forty-two thousanc
<br />five hundred (042,500.00) dollars,being the bonds to be issued for certain municipal im-
<br />provements in said Town in pursuance of a Special Election held`in said Town on the 15th
<br />IR day Of February, 19109 said notice to be published for two weeks in the "Redwood City Demo-
<br />crat",a weekly newspaper published and printed in said Town;
<br />That the- sale of`said bonds be held in the office of this Board,in the Town of Redwood
<br />City,County of San Mateo,State of Californla,on the 4th day of Apr11,1910,at the hour of
<br />a o'clock p.m. of that day.
<br />Bids must be in sealed envelopes and addressed to or left with the Clerk of said Town,
<br />at any time after the date of 'the first publication of said notice and until 9 o'clock
<br />p.m. of the 4th day of Apr1.191910,at Which time and place the sale will be'made.
<br />Bald notice shall be in substantially the following form, to -wit:
<br />NOTICE OF THE SALE OF BONDS.
<br />Pursuant to an order of the Board of Trustees of the. Town of Redwood CitY,in the Counts,
<br />of San Mateo,State of California, passed and adopted on the 7th day of March ,19101notice is
<br />hereby given that the said Board of Trustees will sell at the office of said Board,in the
<br />Town of Redwood Oity,at the hour of 8 o'clock p.m, of the 4th day of Apr11,1910,to the
<br />highest bidder,at not less than their par value,for gold coin of the United States of Amer-
<br />ica,the Municipal Improvement Bonds of said- Town in the amount of, forty-two thousand five
<br />hundred ($42,500.00) dollars,being the Whole of the bonds of said Town,authorized to be
<br />Issued for certain municipal improvements in said Town,sald bonds bearing interest at the
<br />rate of five (5%) per cent per annum,interest payable semi-annually on the 1st day of Mar
<br />and the 1st day of September of every year,on presentation of the coupons at the Town Tre
<br />ury of said Town.
<br />Principal and interest payable in gold coin of the United Statesof America.
<br />Said bonds are of the denomination of five hundred and thirty-one dollars and twenty-
<br />five cents (0531.25) each and are negotiable in form. One -fortieth (140) part of the
<br />Principal of said bonds is payable eabh and every year•,and said bonds are issued in series
<br />so that one -fortieth (140) part of the number of said bonds will be payable on the 1st day
<br />Of March of each and every Year thereafter for the full period of forty (40) Years. The

<br />Principal will be payable at the same place as the interest. Said bonds will bear the date
<br />of March 1st. 1910.
