<br />and also an Act of the Legislature of the state of California entitled,"An Act amending an
<br />Act entitledlAn Act authorizing the incurring of indebtedness of elties,towns and muniei_
<br />pal corporations for municipal improvements and regulating the acquisition , construct ion or
<br />completion thereof "',in effect March 19th 1907, -and found in the Statutes of 1907,Ohapter,
<br />330, and also an Act of the Legislature of the State of Calif ornia,entitled,"An Act to
<br />amend section 5 of an Act which became a law February 25th 1901,entitled,+Ari Act authoriz-
<br />ing the incurring of indebtedness by cities,towns and municipal ciorporatIons* for municipal
<br />improvements, and regulating the acquisition, construction or completion thereof I,as amended
<br />by an Act approved March 19th 1907," and found in the Statutes of 190910hapter 411.
<br />Sealed proposals for the purchase of said bonds will be received by the Board of Trus.
<br />tees of said Town,at the office of the Clerk of said Town Of Redwood City,County of San
<br />Mateo, State of California.
<br />Bids must be in sealed envelopes and addressed to or left with the Clerk of said Town
<br />at any time after the first publication of this notiee,and until & otclock p.m. of the 4th
<br />day of April, 1910.
<br />Bidders may bid upon said bonds as a whole,or on a part thereof.
<br />A certified checK,made payable to the President Of the Board of Trustees of the Town
<br />Of RediKood City,in the amount of five hundred ($500.00) dollars must accompany each bid.
<br />Chec1Kp of unsuccessful bidders to be returned upon rejection of bid,
<br />Check Of successful bidder to be forfeited for the failure on the part of said bidder
<br />to comply with bid.
<br />The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
<br />Bids must be sealed and addressed to or left with the Cleric of the Town of Redwood
<br />City and endorsed
<br />"Proposal for Municipal Improvement Bonds of the Town of Redwood City".

<br />the provisions Of Section 661 of the Political Code of the state of California.
