N <br />Redwood City, May 19th,1913, 8 o'clock P.M. <br />The regular meeting of ghe Board of Town Trustees was held. <br />Upon roll call there were present, Trustees, Pree.Geo.A.Marrill, Geo.A.Deleau, J.J.Hahii <br />G:J.Hynding, E.H.Sampson and Town Clerk, G.C.Plump. <br />The minutes of the meeting held May 5th, 1913, were read and upon motion of Trustee <br />and carried. <br />Hynding, seconded by Trustee Deieau,,,the same were approved as read. <br />The monthly repoEts of the Clerk, Marshall, Treasurer, Plumbing Inspector, and -Supt. of <br />Streets were read, and upon motiom of Trustee Hynding, secomded by Trustee Deleau,and <br />carried, the same were received and filed. <br />A communication from the Mayor of Long Beach relative to a visit from their.iUniclpal <br />Band -was referred to the Board of Trade.' <br />The affidavit of J.V.Swift in the matter of publishing "Notice to Bidders", for 400 <br />feet of Fire Hose, was received and filed on motion of Trustee Hahir, seconded by Trustee <br />Sampson and carried. <br />The following are the bids for 400 feet of fire hose. <br />The Gutta Pereha Rubber Go., Princeton 0 #.80 per foot. <br />Rescue a .75 <br />Bower's Rubb:.r Co. . Victor 4 0.80 <br />Reliance ® .70 <br />Guardian. @ .65 <br />R,'C.Hoimquist ..................... Paragon ® 1.10 " " <br />Amador @ .90 " " <br />Trojan @ •.80 <br />Chief of the Fire Department, J.N.Winter, reeommmnded the best quality of Paragon. <br />After balloting, the Board selected the beat quality of Paragon ® $1.10 per foot. <br />Trustee Deleau moved, seconded by Trustee Sampson, that the contract for same be awar466: <br />to the Eureka Fire Hose 00. Motion carried by the following vote. <br />Ayes, Trustees Daleau, Hahir, Hynding, Sampson and Merrill. <br />Noes, Trustees, None. Absent, Trustees, None. <br />Mr.Jens Hansen addressed the Board relative to right of way for pedestrians along the <br />wharfof Tacoma Mill Co. The matter was referred to the City Attorney. <br />The eomplaing of A.Genoehio that an employee; of Thomas Tuite deposits garbage on Holder <br />Street, was referred to the Marshall. <br />Tne Supt.of 'Streets was authorized to make repairs at deep water wharf. <br />1� <br />
