<br />structed to a point on the easterly curb line of Washington street,said point being 5 feet
<br />southerly from the southerly line of Broadway produced westerly to the easterly curb line of
<br />Washington street, and also by having constructed a 2 ixich asphalt wearing surface, 6 inches
<br />in width immediately adjacent to the 30 inch concrete gutter to be constructed from the north
<br />erly line of Broadway produced easterly to the westerly curb line of Main street around the
<br />radius of the concrete gutter to be constructed westerly along the northerly side of Broad-
<br />way immediately adjacent to the concrete gutter to be constructed to a point where the port
<br />erly line of Beoadway produced westerly intersects the easterly curb line of Washington
<br />street.
<br />All asphalt wearing surface to be constructed.at specified herein shall be constructed im-
<br />mediately adjacent to the 30 inch concrete gutters to be constructed as provided herein and
<br />on the side of said gutters nearest the center of the street;
<br />And be it further resolved that it is the intention of the Board of Trustees of the Town of
<br />Redwood City to order the following *ork to be done and improvements to be made in said Tom
<br />to -wit: -
<br />That the termination of Stambaugh Street at Main street in the Town of Redwood City be im-
<br />proved by constructing thereon a 2 inch asphalt wearing surface, upon all that portion of
<br />said termination of Stambaugh street at Main street on the westerly side of and immediately
<br />adjacent to the concrete gutter or drain to be constructed thereon.' for a strip 6 inches t
<br />width, between the northerly line of Stambaugh street produced westerly and the southerly
<br />line of Stambaugh street produced westerly, and also that a 2 inch asphalt wearing surface
<br />be constructed on all that portion of the termination of Stambaugh street at Main street on
<br />the easterly side of and immediately adjacent to the concrete gutter or drain to be construct
<br />ed thereon for a strip 6 inches in width extending from the northerly curb line of Stam-
<br />baugh street to the southerly curb line of Stambaugh street.
<br />All the hereinbefore mentioned work and improvements are to be done in accordance with the
<br />special plans and specifications heretofore adopted for doing said work by the Bca.rd of
<br />Trustees of the Town of Redwood City,on the 7th day of February,1916,and now on file in the
<br />office of the Clerk of the Town of Redwood City, to which plans and specifications referendZ,
<br />is hereby made for further description of said work and for further particulars.

<br />and improvements,together with the plans and specifications therefor,eonspicuously for five
<br />days'.on or'near the Council.Chamber door,inviting'sealed proposals or bids for doing the
