12 <br />I hereby approve the foregoing Resolution Ordering the Mork No. 24, this 6th day of March <br />1916. <br />Geo. A. Merrill <br />President of the Board of Trustees of the <br />Town of Redwood City. <br />On motion of Trustees Tuchsen and Hahir,the Town Clerk directed to invite bids for <br />work under Resolution No. 24, for Monday April 3rd, 1916, at 8 o'clock P. M. <br />Motion carried. <br />Trustee Tuchsen presents the following resolution and moves its adoption. Trustees <br />Hahir seconds the motion. <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING THE WORK NO. 25. <br />RESOLVED, that where the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City did on the 7th day <br />of February, 1916, pass its Resolution of Intention No. ,25, to order the: hereinafter de- <br />scribed work to be done and improvements to be made in said Town, which Resolution of In- <br />tention No. 25 was duly and legally published as required by law, as appears from the af- <br />fidavit of J. D. Hedge, now on file in the office of the Clerk of said Town of Redwood <br />City; <br />AND WHEREAS, notices of the passage of said Resolution of Intention No. 25, headed <br />"Notice of Improvement" were duly and legally posted along the line of said contemplated <br />work and improvements and in front of all the property liable to be assessed therefor, in <br />form and manner as required by law, as appears from the affidavit of J. C. Dickey, Street <br />Superintendent of said Town; <br />AND WHEREAS it appears from the affidavit of J. C. Dickey, Street Superintendent of <br />r <br />saidr�Town, hereinabove referred to, that he completed the posting of Notices of Improvement <br />above mentioned on the 15th day of February ,J/a916; <br />AND WHEREAS, said Board of Trustees of said Town of Redwood City in and by said Resolu- <br />tion of Intention No. 25, fixed Monday the 6th day of March 1916, at the hour of 7:30 <br />o'clock P.M., of said day at the meeting place .of said Board of Trustees of the Twvn of. <br />Redwood City, in the Council Chamber inthe Town Hall on Webster street in the Town of Red- <br />wood City, County of San Mateo, State of California, as the day, hour and place when and <br />where any and all persons having any objections to the proposed work and improvements de- <br />scribed in said Resolution of Intention No. 25, may appear before the Board of Trustees of <br />said Town of Redwood City and show cause why said proposed work and improvements should not <br />be carrifd out in accordance with said Resolution of Intention; and <br />WHEREAS, at the day, hour and place fixed in said Resolution of Intention No. 25, <br />when and where any and all persons having any objections to the proposed work and improve- <br />ments described in said Resolution of Intention No. 25, may appear before the Board of <br />Trustees of said Town of Redwood City and show:.cause why said proposed work and improve- <br />ments should not be carried out in accordance with said Resolution of Intention no persons <br />appeared before said Board of Trustees of said Town objecting to said proposed work acid <br />improvements described in said Resolution of Intention No. 25, and at said day, hour and <br />place there were no objections of any kind or nature made against said proposed work and <br />improvements described in said Resolution of Intention No. 25. <br />THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the public interest and convenience require the works <br />and improvements herein described and the Board of Trustees of said Town of Redwood City <br />hereby orders the following work to be done and improvements to be made in said Town of <br />Redwood City, to -wit: - <br />That East Brewster Avenue in the Town of Redwood City be improved by being graded for the <br />full width of the roadway of said Avenue and having constructed thereon a macadamized and <br />oiled roadway for the frill width of the roadway of said avenue from the northerly line of <br />1i <br />G <br />
