168 <br />gommunication from James Birkett asking for an extension. of Ten (I0) days to complete <br />the street work on Main Street and Broadway was on motion of Trustee Ma.Nulty,seconded by <br />Trustee Tuchsen same to be granted ,Motion Carried. <br />Communication from Redwood Highlands Improvement -Club relative to installing new fire <br />hydrants in that district,was received and filed, and on motion of Trustee Merrill,seconded <br />by Trustee•Mo.Nulty their request be made &, special order of business at next regular <br />meeting,Motion Carried. <br />Communication from Chamber of Commerce regarding Municipal wharf was received and action <br />deferred on same until definite outlines of the S.H.Frank Company was received,and on motion <br />of Trustee Tuohsen,seoonded by Trustee Mo,Nulty the clerk to notify the Chamber of Commerce <br />when the matter would be brought up.Motion Carried. <br />Communiaation from City Engineer,E.G.Finley,.in regard to engineering expense for drain- <br />age was on motion of Trustee Tucheen,seconded by Trustee Merrill received and filed. <br />On motion of Trustee Merrill,seconded by Trustee Tuchsen the Pacific Gas & Electric <br />Company was granted permission to use 201a dynamite to remove eucalyptus tree stump on <br />Center Street,Motion Carriede <br />Trustee Merrill brought up the matter regarding an official banner for the Town of <br />Redwood City,on motion of Trustee Tuchsen,seoonded by Trustee Mo.Nulty the matter be left <br />in the hands of Trustee Merrill. Motion Carried. <br />On motion of Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee Mabie that President E.H.Sampson, and <br />Town Clerk w.A.Price be authorized to sign up contractswith J.D.Smith for street sweeping <br />and sprinkling .Motion Carriede <br />Moved by Trustee Mc,Nulty,seconded by Trustee Tuchsen, the Clerk refund the Five(b,M <br />Dollars deposit for all Jilans and specifications returned in good order and O.K. by the <br />City Engineer same to be charged to the different districts and Cferk to make report of <br />same to the Boards <br />On motion of Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee Mabie that we do now adjourn, <br />Motion Carried. <br />Town Clerk. <br />I <br />
