Geo.W, Mc.Nulty,Carl K.Mabie,H.C.Tachsen,Town Clerk W.A.Price. Minutes of regular meeting held on July 17th-I9160and adjourned meeting held July 24th. 1916 were read and on motion of Trustee Merrill. seconded by Trustee Me,Nulty same be approved. Motion Carried. Communication from J.J.Schnerr expressing his thanks to the Board for the promptness in which the warrant was forwarded in payment for chemical Engine was received and filed. Moved by Trustee Merrill. seconded by Trustee Tueheen,that hereafter all oommunivation addressed to) the Board without signature attached shall not be presented to the Board, Motion Carried. Communication from Mrs.M.E.Hanson regarding the amounts of her water bills,was on motion of Trustee Tucheen,seconded by Trustee Merrill be referred to Supt.of Streets Dickey to report on at next meeting,Hotion Carried. The application for Plumbers license with Bond and fee submitted by J.Looney was granted on motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee Tucheen,Motion Carried. Communication from William Gurhrie of San Bernardino,Cal in regard to money due from the! County was referred to the City.Attorney. Communication from Blanchard Brown Company for extension of time on East Brewster Street was on motion of Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee Mc,Nulty,that said parties be given an extension time up to and including August 2Ist.1916.Motion Carried. Communication from the Pacific Gas & Electric Company to make contact on City Pole on Hamilton Street as shown on blue print # 17 -R -attached was granted on motion of Trustee Tacheen,seconded by Trustee Mc.Nulty,Motion Carried. On motion of Trustee Merrill, seconded by Trustee Tikeheen, the application of Lionel Lewis foe a liquor license at 246 Main Street be laid over pending the filing of his notification notice,Motion Carried. Communication from Mr.Lee Clark asking for a'rebatejon his..Uquor license was on motion of Trustee Merrill,seconded by Trustee Tuchsen, the Clerk be authorized to write Mr.Clark that the Board had been informed that he had already been paid the rebate and for him to appear before the Board for an explanation in regard to same,Motion Carried. On motion of Trustee Tucheen,seconded by Trustee Merrill, that J.D.Smith be awarded the contract for sprinkling, and sweeping Webster Street from Broadway to the Bridge twice a week for the sum of seventy five(75) cents for each cleaning,Motion Carried. Mr.J.F.Ford addressed the Board relative to licensing the 'Jitney Servioe of the Town,was on motion of Trustee Merrill„ seconded by Trustee Tuchsen referred to City Attorney. Monthly report of the Treasurer -Marshall -City Clerk- Supt.of Streets- City Electrician- and Pound Master were received and filed on motion of Trustee Me.Nulty,seconded by Trustee Tuchsen. Treasurer report shows cash on hand August Ist.1916-General Fund$32OI.34-Water Fund $ 2187.90 -Fire apparatus Fund$ 755.85 ORDINANCE # 172. An Ordinance amendind Section S of an Ordinance entitled ORDINANCE No,118- an ORDINANCE fixing and establishing WATER RATES,introduced July 17th.1916,Trastee Mexrill,seconded by Trustee Tuchsen the adoption of ORDINANCE # 172,Motion Carried by the following Vote; Ayes,Trustees Geo.A.Merrill-Geo.W.Mc.Nulty-Carl.K.Mabie-H.C.Tucheen- E.H.Sampson, Noes,Trustees-None.
