160 On motion of Trustee Merrill,s000nded by ,Trustee Tucheen,the Clerk be instructed to pur- <br />chase 3 Corey Fire hydrants and the Supt,of Streets to install one of the hydrants at the <br />corner of King Street and Brewster Avenue,Motion Carried. <br />Affidavits of D,E,0111eefe-Albert Mansfield -and J,C.Dickey in the matter of PUBLISHING and <br />POSTIBG RESOLUTION of INTENTION No,31-was on motion of Trustee Merrill,seoonded by Trustee <br />Tuoheen same be received and filed,Motion Carried. <br />Trustee Merrill presents the following RESOLUTION and moves its adoption,Trustee Tuoheen <br />seconds the motion, <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING THE WORK No.31. <br />Resolved, that whereas the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City, did on the 17th, <br />day of July,1916,pass its RESOLUTION of INTENTION N0.31 to order the hereinafter described <br />work to beddone and improvements to be made in said Town,which RESOLUTION of INRENTION NO 31 <br />was duly and legally published as required by law,as appears from the affidaxit of D.E. <br />O'Keefe now on file in the office of the Town Clerk of the Town of said Town of Redwood <br />City;and <br />WHEREAS,notiaes•of the passage of said RESOLUTION of INTENTION A- 31,headed NOTICE of <br />n <br />IMPROVEMENT were duly posted along the line of said contemplated improvement'and in front of <br />all the property liable to be assessed therefor, in form and manner as required by law,as cur !a <br />appears from the affadivdts of J,C.Diakey,Superintendent of said Town of Redwood City and <br />Albert Mansfield; and <br />WHEREAS,it appears from the adfidavits of J.C,Dickey and said Albert Mansfield that said <br />notices if improvement were posted and said posting completed more that ten days _before the <br />7th,day of August,1916,the day for hearing protests against said work and improvements ;and <br />WHEREAS,in sial Resolution of Intention No,31 and in said Notice of Improvement as posted <br />as aforesaid notice was given that August 7th,19i6,at the hour of $10'alock.P.M. of said <br />day at the Council Chamber of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City in the Town <br />Hall on Webster Street in said Town was the day,hour and place when and where any and all <br />persond having any objections to the proposed work and improvements described in said <br />RESOLUTION of INTENTION NO -3I and said Notice ON Improvement;oould appear before the Board <br />lof Trustees and show cause why said described and improvements should not be carried out in <br />accordance with Resolution of Intention No.31;and <br />{ v'S <br />Whereaslat sdLid day,hour and place no persons appeared and no objections of any kind <br />were made against 9a1d work and improvements described in said Resilution No,31 now ithereforie <br />be it <br />RESOLVED,that the public interest and convenience require the work herein described,and the <br />Board of Trustees if the Town of Redwood City hereby orders the following work to be done <br />and improvements to br made in said Tiwn of Redwood City,to-wit; <br />1:_ <br />
