0 <br />Redwood City, March 6th, 1916. 8- P.M. <br />Regular Meeting of the Board of Town Trustees held. <br />Roll Call present, Trustees. President Geo. A. Merrill, Geo. A. Deleau, J. J. Hahir, <br />E. H. Sampson, H. C. Tuchsen, Town Clerk, G. C. Plump. <br />Minutes of regular meeting, Feb. 21, 1916, and adjorned meeting Feb. 28, 1916, read on <br />motion of Trustee Sampson, seconded by Trustee Hahir, same be approved. Motion carried. <br />Henry Marcus addressed the Board, relative to an appropation for decorating <br />streets during Fo'rester's Convention. On motion of Trustees Tucheen and Hahir a sum not <br />to emceed $200.00, be allowed. Motion carried. <br />On motion of Trustees Sampson and Tucheen, Holders of Class A. Liquor licenses <br />be allowed to keep place of business open until 2 o'clock A. M., during Forester's con- <br />vention week. <br />Affidavits of J. D. Hedge, D. E. O'Keefe and J. C. Dickey, in the matter of <br />Publishing and Posting Resolutions of intentions, Nos. 23, 249 25, <br />Trustee Tuchsen, moves seconded by Trustee Deleau, same be received and filed. <br />Motion Carried. <br />Trustee Tuchsen presents the following Resolution and moves its adoption, <br />Trustee Hahir, seconds the motion. <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING THE WORK NO. 23. <br />RESOLVED, that whereas the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redowwd City did <br />on the 7th day of February, 1916, pass its Resolution of Intention No. 23, to order the <br />hereinafter described work to be done and improvements to be made in said Town which <br />Resolution of Intention No. 23 was duly and legally published as required by law, as <br />appears from the affidavit of J. D. Hedge, now on file in the office of the Clerk of <br />said Town of Redwood City. <br />AND WHEREAS, notices of the passage of said Resolution of Intention No. 23, <br />headed "Notice of Improvement" were duly and legally posted along the line of said con- <br />templated work and improvements and in front of all the property liable to be assessed <br />therefor, in form and manner as required by law, as appears from the affidavit of J.C. <br />Dickey, Stx'eet Superintendent of said Town; <br />AND WHEREAS it appears from the affidavit of J. C. Dickey, Street Superintend- <br />ent of said Town, hereinabove referred to, that he completed the posting of the Notices <br />of Improvements above mentioned on the 21st day of February, 1916. <br />AND WHEREAS, said Board of Trustees of said Town of Redwood City, in and by <br />said Resolution of Intention No. 23, fixed Monday the 6th day of March, 1916, at the <br />hour of 7.30 o'clock P. M., of said day at the meeting place of said Board of Trustees <br />of the Town of Redwood City, in the Council Chamber, in the Town Hall on Webster Street <br />in the Town of Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State of California, as the day, hour <br />and place when and where any and all persons having any objections to the proposed work <br />and improvements described in said Resolution of Intention No. 23, may appear before <br />the Board of Trustees of said Town of Redwood City and show cause why said proposed work <br />and improvements should not be carried out in accordance with said ResolAtion of Inten- <br />tion; and <br />WHEREAS, at the day, hour and place fixed in said Resolution of Intention No. <br />23, when and where any and all persons having any objections to the proposed work and <br />improvements described in said Resolution of Intention No. 23, may appear before the <br />Board of Trustees of said Town of Redwood City, and show cause why said proposed work <br />and improvements should not be carried out in accordance with said Resolution of Inten- <br />i� <br />
