<br />To the Honorable Board of Trustees of the
<br />Town of Redwood City,Cal.
<br />Gentlemen; -
<br />Permission is hereby granted to the Town of Redwood City to let the fill on Webster
<br />Street encroach upon my property with the understanding that the Town will not injure any
<br />buildings and will replace the fence on the fill after the same id made.

<br />Report of Fire Chief M.E.Ryan upon his attendance at the Pacific Coast Assn. of Fire Chief's
<br />Convention held at San Diego ,Cal was received and filed.
<br />On motion of Trustee. Tuchsen,seoonded by Trustee Mabie, the Fire Chief,be given permission
<br />to purchase one 22 x 22 Gorter Shut off valve,one Double male and female connection, and one
<br />Screw Base,Motion Carried.
<br />On motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee Tuchsen, the Fire Chief -be authorized to
<br />have the Fire Alarm boxes painted,also a bamd painted around the poles upon which fire
<br />alarm boxes are installed,Motion Carried.

<br />An ORDINANCE fixing the amount of money to be raised by Taxation upon the taxable prop
<br />within the Town of Redwood City as a. revenue to carry on the various departments of said
<br />Town for the current year 1916,1917, and to pay the bonded indebtedness of said Town fall

<br />be received up to and including the 25th.day of September;1916 at the hour of 8 °'clock,P.M&
<br />for the construction of culverts across the state Highway at Rogers street,Hopkins avenue
<br />Brewster avenue,and Jackson avenue,in ace ordance to plans and specifications submitted by
<br />the 01ty Engineer,Motion Carried.
