<br />Regular meeting of Board of Town Trustees held.
<br />Upon roll call there were present,Trustees,President E.H.Sampson,Geo. A. Merrill, Geo.W.
<br />Me.Nulty,Carl K.Mabie,H.C.Tachsen,Town C1erk,W.A.Price.
<br />Minutes of the regular meeting held September 5th.1916 were read and on motion of Truster
<br />Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee Me.Nulty,same be approved.Motion Carried.
<br />A communication Was .received from the Trustees of the Sequoia Union High School requesting
<br />a deed t6 a small strip_of land back of the library,thereon,Trustee Tuchsen presents the
<br />following resolution and moves its adoption,T,rustee Mc.Nulty seconds the motion.

<br />THAT the Town of Redwood City execute to Sequoia Union High School District of San
<br />Mateo County said Town's deed conveying to said High School District the following tract of ,
<br />land -portion of that certain tract of land conveyed to said Town by said School District
<br />by its deed dated June Ist.1904,( recorded in Book I03 of Deeds,page 153,San Mateo County
<br />Records),whieh said tract of land to be hereby conveyed. -is described as follows,to-wit;•
<br />All that certain lot,piece,paruel or tract of land situate,lying and being in the Town
<br />of Redwood ,City, County ,of San Mateo,State of Calif ornia,particularly described as follows,
<br />to -wit;
<br />Beginning at a point on the westerly line of Washington"Street distant 404.08 feet north-
<br />erly from the intersection of the westerly line of Washington Street with the northwesterly
<br />line of Jefferson Strret;thence South 40 0 43' West 76.65 feet;thence South 36.52 feet to a
<br />point in the 'enter of a branch of Redwood Creek,said point being the common corner of the
<br />G..A.Genoehio property, the library property and the Sequoio Union High School property;
<br />thence North 420 54 ' east 73.45 feet on and along the center line of Redwood City Creek
<br />which is the northwesterly line of the G.A.Genochio property to the westerly line of
<br />Washington street;thence due North on and along the westerly line of Washington street
<br />40.81 feet to the point and place of beginning.
<br />The westerly line of Washington Street is assumed North for the purpose of this descript-on.
<br />Together with the tenements,hereditaments and appurtenance thereunto belonging.
<br />The consideration for this conveyance being the construction and maintenance upon the reel
<br />property hereinbefore described by eaid High School Distriot,a.t said High School District's
<br />sole expense ,of a building suitable for education in manual training and kindred,subjects;
<br />BE it Further Resolved that said deed be executed by the Board of Trustees 6f said Town
<br />and by the President and Clerk of said Board.
<br />Passed and adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City at a regular
<br />meeting of said Board held on the 18th.day of September,1916. by the following vote;
<br />Ayes and in favor of the passage of the foregoing Resolution,Trustees,

<br />Noes and against the passage of the foregoing Resolution,Trustees,
