200 <br />Redwood City,Ootober 2nd.1916,7.30 '/M. <br />Regular meeting of the Board of Town Trustees held. <br />Upon roll call there were present,Trustees,President,E.H.Sampson, Geo.A.Merrill, Gep.W. <br />Mc.Nulty,Carl K.Mabie, H.C.Tnehsen,Town C1erk,W.A.Price. <br />Minutes of Regular meeting held September,18th,1916 and Regular adjourned meeting held <br />September25th.1916, were read and on motion of Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee Mabie be <br />approved as read,Motion Carried. <br />Communication from Colonel Thoe,H.Rees regarding the flood gatas across Redwood Creek at <br />Bradford Street bridge was received and same was placed on file to ba brought up later. <br />Communication from Mrs.R.A.Eweeney,Pescia in regards to taking care of the storm waters <br />on the Sweeney Ranch near Chesnut Street was received and filed, and the clerk instructed <br />to write Mrs.Pescial--the matter was being considered by the Board at the present time. <br />Communication from the State Compensation Insurance Fund stating that they had made <br />final payment on the claim of George H.Hanson was received and filed. <br />On motion of Trustee Merrill,seconded by Trustee Tuchsen, the Board of Trustees indorse <br />the plans of the Redwood City Chamber of Commerce to give the people of this City a Fadgl <br />Flexible Car system,and Officially sanction the plans and urges every public spirted citizen <br />to give the Chamber of Commerce all the aid possible in th9ir efforts,Motion Carried. <br />Oil motion of Trustee Mc,Nulty,seconded by Trustee Merrill, the Street Committee go a <br />head with the putting down of a culvert and do whatever draining that is needed on Chesnut <br />Street, near the Christofferson Plant•.Motion Carried. <br />On motion of Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee Mc,Nulty the City Engineer be authorized <br />to have a main line telephone installed in his office for the use of himself and the Supt. <br />of Streets ,Motion Carried. <br />RESOLUTION OVERRULING PROTEST. <br />Trustee Tuehsen introduced the following Resolution and moves its adoption,Trustee Merrill <br />seconds the motion, <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City, did,on the 5th.day of <br />September,1916,pass its Resolution of Intentiom NO -32 to order the following work to be done <br />and improvements to be made in said Town,to-wit; <br />9 <br />i <br />l <br />- <br />. �I <br />
