�q'0 . Redwood City,October 2nd.1916,7.30 PTI. Regular meeting of the Board of Town Trustees held. Upon roll call there were present,Trustees,President,B.H.Sampson, Geo.A.Iaerrill, Gep.i9. Mc.Nulty,Carl K.Mabie, H.C.Tuchsen,Town C1erk,W.A.Price. i Minutes of Regular meeting held September,18th,1916 and Regular adjourned meeting held September25th.1916, were read and on motion of Trustee Tuchsen,seconded b� Trustee Mabie be lapproved as read,&Iotion Carried. Communication from Colonel Thos.H.Rees regarding the flood gates across Redwood Creek at (Bradford Street bridge was received and same was placed on file to ba brought up later. Communication from Mrs.R.z.Sweeney.Pescia in regards to taking care of the storm waters fon the Sweeney Ranch near Chesnut Street was received and filed, and the clerk instructed !to write Mrs.Pescia, the matter was being considered by the Board at the present time. Communication from the State Compensation Insurance Fund stating that they had made final payment on the claim of George H.Hanson was received and filed. On motion of Trustee Merrill,seconded by Trustee Tuchsen, the Board of Trustees indorse ;the plans of the Pedwood City Chamber of Commerce to give the people of this City a Fadgl (Flexible Car system,and dfficially sanction the plans and urges every public spirted citizen to give the Chamber of Commerce all the aid possible in th6ir efforts,14otion Carried. On motion of Trustee 1,1c,Nulty,seconded by Trustee Merrill, the Street Committee go a I (head with the putting down of a culvert and do whatever draining that is needed on Chesnut !Street, near the Christofferson Plant.Kotion Carried. { On motion of Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by 'Trustee McNulty the City Engineer be authorize,d I Ito have a main line telephone installed in his office for the use of himself and the Supt. of Streets,Motion Carried. RESOLUTION OVERRULING PROTEST. Trustee Tuchsen introduced the following Resolution and moves its adoption,Trustee Kerri seconds the motion, WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City, did,on the 5th.day of I September,1916,pass its Resolution of Intentiom No -32 to order the following work to be done] and improvements to be made in said Towrn,to-wit;
