<br />WHEREAS,said Superintendent of Streets also caused a notice similar in substance to be
<br />published by two insertions in the Times Gazette, a weekly newspaper,published,printed and
<br />circulated in said Town of Redwood City( there being no daily newspaper published therein),
<br />the first publication of said notice of the passage of said Resolution of Intention A -2 -
<br />being on the 24th.day of March,1917, and
<br />Whereas, no protest against the change re-establishment and establishment of the grades
<br />therein proposed to be changed,re-established and established have been made or filed with
<br />the Clerk of said Town, and the time for filing such protests havingexpired;
<br />NOW THEREFORE,it is hereby ordered and directed that the official grades on Lincoln avenue
<br />from the center line of Fulton street to the southerly end of said Lincoln atenue be, and
<br />the same are hereby changed,re-established and established so that such grades,and the
<br />elevations•in feet above the Redwood City base at the points hereinafter mentioned, shall
<br />be as follows, to -wit;
<br />18.4 feet above base at the point of intersection of the center line of Lincoln avenue and
<br />the center line of Fulton street,
<br />20.2 feet above base at point of intersection of the center line of Lincoln avenue and
<br />center line of Evans street.
<br />22.6 feet above base at point of intersection of the center line of Lincoln avenue and
<br />center line of Hudson street.
<br />923.8 feet above base at point of intersection of the centerline of L9,nc6ln avenue at
<br />I
<br />northeasterly line of lot 7 of the Wooster,Whitton,&'Montgomery subdivision of a part of•
<br />the Redwood Farm said line being the doutherly end of Lincoln avenue.
<br />The grade on said avenue between the points at which elevations are established or re-
<br />established herein,will lie evenly on a straight line connecting consective points& the
<br />grade at the top of the curbs on both sides of the street shall at all points be 4 inches
<br />below the grades in the center of the street as herein established or re-established.
<br />The grades at the gutter on both sides of the street shall at all points be 6 inches below
<br />the grades at the top of the curbs as said grades are established or re-established herein.
<br />The base which the elevations ang grades herein referred to have reference is mean high
<br />water of the San Francisco Bay,compared to which the top of that certain granite monument
<br />marked°G.B."placed in that certain triangular piece of land in the Toan of Redwood City, the
<br />property of said Town, and bounded by Main street formerly Mound street,Beeeh street and
<br />the right of way of the Southern Pacific Railroad Company,which said monument is located
<br />in said piece of land at a -point 5.5 feet wasterly from a point in the easterly line of
<br />Main street,formerly Mound street,which last mentioned point is .50.6 feet northerly in said
<br />easterly line of Main street,formerly Mound street from the northerly line of Beech street.
<br />is fixed and established at I2.6 feet above mean high water of the San Francisco Bay.
<br />All the herein proposed work and changes of grade is done in puraance of an Act of the
<br />Legislature of the State of California,entitled,"An Act tooProvide for Changing or Modifying
<br />the Grade of Public streets,Lanes,Alleys,Courts or other places wherein municipalities",
<br />approved April 2Ist.1909.
<br />And it is further ordered that this Resolution be published once in the Times -Gazette.,
<br />a weekly newspaper published and circulated in said Town of Redwood City, and shall take
<br />effect and be in force from and after its passage.
<br />Passed and adopted as a Resolution of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City, at
<br />a regular meeting of said Board held on the 2lst day of May919179 by the following vote;
<br />Ayes and in favor of the passage of the foregoing Resolution,Trustees,
<br />Geo.A.Merrill,Geo.W.Mo.Nulty,CarlX.Mabie,H.C.Tachsen,E.H.gampson.
