Trustee Tuchsen presents the following Resolution and moves its adoption,Trustee Me. Nulty secamde the motion. RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO.A-7. RESOLVED,that it is the•intention of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City, County of San Mateo,State of California, to order the following work to be done and im- �e salcrfiian provements to be made in said Town, to -wit; That Winslow street be improved by having constructed thereon a combination cement con- A/o,A- % trete curb and gutter on the easterly side•thereof,from the southerly line of Broadway to Wi�15iaYt the southerly end of said Winslow street -at the right of way of the Southern Pacific S{reZ� Railroad Company, the curb portion of,said combination curb and gutter to be constructed on the curb line 28 feet from the center line of said street, and the gutter portion of said combination curb and gutter to be two feet in width extending said width of two feet from the curb line towards the center of the street.Said gutter portion of said combination curb and gutter is to be 5 inches think at the.curb line and GQ inches thick adjacent to the pavement; and Also that a cement concrete gutter be constructed an the westerly side of Winslow street immediately adjacent to the curb line, and extending for a width of two feet from said curb line towards -the center of the street, from the southerly line of Broadway to the southerly end of said Winslow street at'the right of way of the Southern Pacific Railroad Company. - Said Gutter is to be 5 inches thick at the curb line and 62 inches -thick adjacent•to the pavement; and Also that Winslow street for the full width of the roadway thereof,from the southerly line of Broadway to the southerly end of said Winslow street at the right of way of the Southern Pacific Railroad Company be graded and paved with cement concrete base`s inches thick and an asphaltic wearing surface I a inches thick, said paving and wearing surface to begin two feet from the curb lines on both sides of the street at the cement concrete gutters. ' All the hereinbefore and hereinabove described work and improvements shall be done in accordance with the special pland and specifications heretofore adopted for said work by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood.Csty on the ¢th.day of Jdne,191and .now on file in the office of the clerk of the Town of Redwood City and particulary referred to .and made a part hereof,and reference is hereby made to said plane and specifications for a further description of said work. The Town Clerk shall cause this Resolution of Intention No.A-7 to be published twice in the Times -Gazette, a weekly newspaper published,printed and circulated in said Town,(there being no daily newspaper therein),snd hereby designated by said Board of Trustees of said Town for that purpose. The Street Superintendent Of said Town,shall immediately cause to be conspicuously posted along the line of said contemplated work and improvements and in front of all property liable to be assessed,notice of the passage of this Resolution of Intention No.A-7 in the manner and form required by law. And be it further Resolved that serial bonds bearing interest at the rate of seven per cent annum and extending over the period of nine years from the second day of January nexj: suceedding their date shall be issued to represent assessments of twenty-five ($ 25)dollars. or over for the costs and expenses of said work and improvements and 'in manner and form provided by law. And notice is hereby given that Monday the 2.nd.day of July,1917,at the hour of 8 o'clock P.M.of said day,at the meeting place of the Board of Trustees in the Council Chamber in the Town Hall on Webster -street in said Town of Redwood City,County of San Mateo,State of California,has been and is hereby fixed as the day,hour and place when ank where any and all persons having any objections to the proposed work and improvements described herein may t:n
