<br />Regular meeting of -the Board of Town Trustees held.
<br />Upon roll call there were present,Trustees,President,E.H.Sampson,Geo.A.Merrill,Geo.Vd9
<br />Mc.Nulty,Carl K.Ma.bie,H.C.Tuchsen90ity Clerk W.A.Price.

<br />Minutes 'of the regular meeting held June 18th.1917,were read on motion of Trustee Merrill,
<br />seconded by Trustee Mc.Nulty same be approved as read.
<br />Mr.C.M.Doxsee addressed the Board and presented a petition asking the Board to.revoke the
<br />permit granted the Redwood City Athletic'Club and to pass an Ordinance prohibiting such
<br />exhibitions in our City;was on motion of Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee Mc.Nulty said
<br />petition be laid over until next meeting.,Mo.tion Carried:
<br />On motion of Trustee Merrill,seconded by Trustee Tuchsen,the City sttorneg be instructed
<br />to prepare and have ready for meeting of July 16th. 1917 an Ordinance prohibiting four round
<br />boxing bouts in this City, Motion Carried..

<br />Sprinkling be referred to the Supt, of Streets for his eonsideration,Motion Carried.
<br />Moved by Trustee Tuch'sen,seeoncled•by'Trustee Mabie, the bid of Charles J.•Lingren be laid
<br />over until next meeting,Motion Carried.

<br />wok Resolution of Intention NO.A.-7 for the improvement of Winslow Street was on motion of

<br />Trustee Tuchsen presents the following Resolution and moves its adoption,Trustee Mabie
<br />seconds the motion.
<br />RESOLUTION ORDERING THE WORK NO -A -7 -
<br />RESOLVED, that whereas the Board of Trustees of the Town of ,Redwood City did, on the 4th.
<br />day of June,1917,Pass its Resolution of Intention No.A.-7 to order the hereinafter describes
<br />work to be done and improvements to be made in said Town,which Resolution of •Intention NO.
<br />A-7 was dulSr and legally published as required by law as appears from the affidavit of D.E.
<br />�7 O'Keefe now on file in the office of the Clerk of said Town;
<br />OrdehlM� And whereas notices of the passage of said Resolution of Intention No.A-7,head.ed"Notice
<br />file'
<br />h'or)< of Improvement" were duly and legally posted along the line of said contemplated work and
<br />No X improvements and in front'of all the property liable to be,assessed therefor in the manner
<br />and form required by law,as appears from the affidavit of Edward Dearborn,Street Superin-
<br />tendent of said Town, and now on file in the office of the Clerk of gaid Town;
<br />And whereas it appears from the affidavit of said Edward Dearborn,Street Superinteddent
<br />heretofore referred to that the posting of said Notices of Improvement so posted as afore -
