291 �I I was completed on the 19th.day of June,1917; And whereas,in and by said Resolution of Intention No -'L-7 said Board of Trustees of said Town of Redwood City fixed Monday the 2nd,day of July,1917,at the hour of 8'oclook P.M.of said day at the meeting place of said Board of Trustees of said Town in the Town Hall on Webster street in said 'Town of Redwood City,County of San Mateo,State of California, as the 'day,hour and place when and where any and all•persond having ahy objections to the proposed work and improvements described in said Resolution of Intention No.A-7 could appear before the Board of.Trustees of said Town of Redwood City and show cause why said proposed work and improvements should not be catried out in accordance with said Resolution of Intention No.A-7; 'And whereas, at the•day,hour and place fixed in said Resolution of Intention'No.A-7 when and where any and all persons having any objections to the proposed work and improve- ments described in said Resolution of Intention .No.A-T could appear before the Board of Trustees Said Town of Redwood City and show cause w$y said proposed work and improvements should not be carried out in accordance with said Resoltion of Intention No.A-7 no person or pereons appeared before.said Board of Trus'tees'of said Town of Redwood City objecting to -the work and improvements 'described'in said Resolution of Intention.No.A-7 and no objections of any kind or nature were made against the proposed work and improvements des- cribed in said Resolution. of Intention No.A-7; THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the'publie interest and convenience require the work and improvements herein described, and the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City hereby I� orders the,following work to be done and improvements to be made in said Town of Redwood 79�,so/utoi> City,to-wit; Ord h9 I�That Winslow street be improved by having constructed thereon a combination cement 41,Q K rrar concrete curb and gutter on theteasterly side thereof,from the southerly line -of Broadway Ale. A-� to the southerly"end of said Winslow street'at the right of way of the Southern Pacific Railrgad Company,,the•curb portion of said combination curb aha gutter to be constructed' ji on the curb line 28 feet from'the center line of said street and the gutter portion of said combination curb and gutter to•be two feet.in width extending said width of two feet jl from the curb line towards the center of the street ,Said gutter portion of said combination curb and gutter is to be 5 inches thick at the curb line and 62 inches thick adjacent to the pavement; and Also that a cement concrete gutter be constructed on the westerly side of Winslow street r immediat6ly,;adjacent to the curb line,and extending for a width of two feet from said curb line towards the center of the street,from the southerly line of Broadway to the southerly end of said, Winslow street 'at the right of way of the Southern Pacific Railroad Company. Said gutter is to be 5 inches thick at the curb line and 62 inches thick adjacent to the pavement; and Also that Winslow street for the full width of the roadway thereof,from the southerly fline of Broadway to the southerly end of said Winslow stroet at the right of way of the Southern Pacific Railroad Company be graded and paved with cement concrete base 5 inches thick and an asphaltic wearing surface I2 inches thick;said paving and wearing surface to begin two feet from the curb lines on both sides of the street at the cement concrete gutters. All the hereinbefore and hereinabove described work and improvements shall be done in accordance with the special plans'and specifications heretofore adopted for doing said work by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City on the ¢th.day of June 1917, and now on file in the office of the Clerk of the Town of Redwood City and particulary referred to and made a part hereof and reference is hereby made to said plans and specifications for a further description of said work.
