I hereby approve the foregoing Resolution of Intention No. 29, this 6th day of <br />March, 1916. <br />GEO. A. MERRILL <br />President of the: Board of Trustees of the <br />Town of Redwood City. <br />E. G. Finlay, City Engineer, of the Town of Redwood City, presents claims amount- <br />ing to $657.00 covering work of several street improvements now under proceedings. <br />Trustee Tuchsen moves, seconded by Trustee Deleau, claims be accepted as cor- <br />rect in order that the Bank could cash same in advance of regular time of payment, same <br />to be charged against each respective district. <br />Motion carried. <br />HONORABLE BOARD OF CITY <br />Redwood City, Cal. <br />Gentlemen: - <br />We hereby make application to your Honorable Board for permission to re- <br />place our 1" line which is in bad condition, owing to salt water action on the pipe. <br />There are leaks developing on Stambaugh,Phelps, Chestnut and the other streets covered.by <br />the blue print herewith attached. We would like to start this work at a very early date, <br />to streets which will be torn up to be replaced according to the instructions of your <br />street superintendent. <br />Very truly yours, <br />E.W.Florence, <br />Manager. <br />Trustee Tuchsen moves, seconded by Trustee Hahir, permit to lay gas mains on <br />Stambaugh, Heller and other streets, be granted to Pacific Gas and Electric Company on <br />condition that the Pacific Gas and Electric Company place concrete in refilling trenches. <br />Motion Carried. <br />On Motion TrusteEe Hahir, and_Sampson that it is the sense of this Board that the <br />Geo. H. Irving Co., complete cess pool, at their own expense. <br />Motion Carried. <br />Trustee Tuchsen, authorized to purchase two (2) dozen park seats at X2.25 each <br />on Motion of Trustees Sampson and Hahir. <br />Superintnednet Street J.C.Dickey directed to oil all water pools to prevent mos- <br />quitoes and to repair sewer ruts on macadam roads. On motion of Trustees Sampson and Deleau <br />Superintendent Street J.C.Dickey reports twenty seven (27) property owners not <br />connected with sewers, on Lincoln, Grant and Redwood Avenue. The same was referred to the <br />Board of Health. <br />The monthly Report of Town Clerk, Treasurer, Marshal, Street Superintendent, <br />were received and filed on Motion of Trustees Deleau and Tuehsen. <br />The following claims were approved by finance committee. <br />No. <br />431 Redwood City Water Co.,-. ------------------ Water Fund --------------,582.34 <br />432 Crane Co.,--------------------------------- "------------- 152.94 <br />433 Wm.
