<br />Minutes of the regular meeting held August. 6th.1917 and regular adjourned meeting held
<br />August 13th.1917,were read and on motion of Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee 1labie same
<br />be approved as read,biotion Carried,
<br />Moved by Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee Mc.Nulty, the action of the Redwood City

<br />Chamber of Commeree in the matter of dredging Redwood Creek be approved and Trustee H.C.

<br />Communication from the Redwood Transit Company applying for permission to operate a
<br />motor bus passenger line between this City and the Military Camp at Menlo Park was on motion
<br />of Truatee Tuchsen,seconded. by Trustee Iulabie be received and filed, and a public hearing
<br />of said application be held at the Town Hall,on August 27th.1917,at 8o'clock P.M.Motion
<br />Carried.
<br />Communication from the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Redwood City Fire Department,
<br />in regards to the installing of a pressure pump on our present Fire Apparatus was on motion
<br />of Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee Mc.Nulty be referred to Trustee Mabie,Committee to
<br />work in conjunction with the Fire Chief,Motion Carried.
<br />Moved by Trustee Ivlabie,seconded by Trustee Ivlc,Nulty, the license of W.C.Johansen be
<br />restored with the understanding if the violation of the saloon license Mappens again his
<br />licence will be revoked.Motion Carried.
<br />On motion of Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by 'Trustee Iulabie further hearing on the protest

<br />of the improvement of Vera Avenue under Resolution of Intention No.°I-II be laid over until
<br />August ?7th.1917 at 8o'clock P.M.,11otion Carried.
<br />On motion of Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee Iulabie the Resolution adopt6d by the
<br />Redwood City Chamber of Commerce regarding the dredging of Redwood Creek be received and.
<br />filed,Motion Carried.

<br />Notice of hearing before the Railroad Commission of the State of California of Roy M.Hayes
<br />and L.Irwin,Jr.for operating an automobile service between Camp Fremont,San Francisco and
<br />San Jose was received and filed.
