<br />upon Vera Avenue be changed, that a new sewer and curbs be constructed and that said revenue
<br />be graded and paved,all of which is set forth in the resolution of intention A -II passed
<br />by your Honorable Body on July 23rd.1917, and to which reference is here mad`e,as more fully
<br />and particularly sescribing said work,
<br />NOW THEREFOR,we,the undersigned,do hereby certify that we are the pwners of a
<br />majority of the frontage of property fronting on Vera avenue,which has been fined by your
<br />Honorable Body for said work,each owning the number of feet frontagg placed opposite his
<br />or her name, and we do hereby protest against and object to said proposed work and improve-
<br />ments upon the ground that said work is not needed, that it will work a great and irrepar-
<br />able hardship upon many who will'be subjected to heavy assessments without any benefit there-
<br />from, and that the proposed work would be impracticable at this time.
