<br />Regular adjourned meeting of the Board of Town Trustees held.
<br />Upon roll call there were present;-Trustees,President,E.H.Sampeon,Geo.A.Merrill,Geo.W.
<br />Mo.Nulty,Carl K.Mabie,H.0.Tucheen,City Clerk, W.A. Price,
<br />Report of Chief of Fire Department,M.E.Ryan,showing 18 Alarms and Fire damage in the

<br />o� amount of $ 3,000.00 for the year 1917,and also several recommendations for the better -
<br />/Y1, 1;0t: ment of the Fire Department was read and on motion of Trustee Merrill. seconded by Trustee
<br />Tuchsen said report be received and filed for further consideration,Motion Carried.

<br />The following Fire Commissioners and Delegates met in joint session with the Board of
<br />Trustees to elect a Fire Chief and First and Second Assistant Chief; -Fire Chief,M.E.Ryan,
<br />Ist.Assistant Chief,Julius Allain,2nd.Assistant Chief Henry A.Beeger,
<br />Hose Company No.I;-H.Beeger,F.Ligouri.
<br />Hose Company No.2;-Earl Bullivant.
<br />Hose Company NO.3;-Wm.Lutje.
<br />Hose Company No -¢;-Gordan Seeley,Chae.Foley.
<br />Hook and Ladder; -Lee Pipkin,C.Choate,
<br />Chemical Engine;Ed.Allen,Frank Thompson.

<br />On motion of Trustee Merrill,seconded by Trustee Mabie, the recommendation of the Fire
<br />Chief relative to the forming of a Fire District,and the adopting of a Building Ordinance
<br />be approved by this Board,Motion Carried.
<br />Moved by Trustee Merrill, seconded by Trustee Tuchsen the Fire Commissioners be requested
<br />to furnish the Board with a report and details at the next meeting for a Central Fire
<br />House on Main Street,Motion Carried.

<br />On motion of Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee Merrill the report of the itailroad

<br />n� Commissioners regarding the closing of certain streets in the Town of Redwood City be sub-
<br />mitted to the Fire Commissioners for their consideration and same to be reported on a;� next
<br />Streets meeting December 17th.1917,Motioh Carried.
<br />On motion of Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee Merrill the City Electrican be author-
<br />ized to purchase two transformere.Motion Carried.
<br />Before adjourning President E.H.Sampson addressed the Fire Delegates expressing the thanks
<br />of himself and the Board to the officers and men of the lire Department for the prompt and
<br />efficient service they had rendered the City and also stating the -board stood ready and
<br />willing to assist the Firemen all they possibly could at all times.
<br />Moved by Trustee Merrill,seconded by Trustee Tuchsen that we do now adjourn,Motion Carried.
