384 <br />Sewer <br />'Vid <br />S;delrA/k" <br />LV7Jgr!!s S7� <br />60;'I' ce <br />No 11 <br />Redwood City,April Ist.1918.8 o'clock P.M. <br />Regular meeting of the Board of Town Trustees held. <br />Upon roll call there were present,Trustees;President E.H.Sampson,Geo.A.Merrill,Geo.W. <br />Mo.Nulty,Carl K.Mabie,H.C.Tucheen,City Clerk W.A.Price. <br />Minutes of Regular meeting held March 18th.1918,were read and on motion of Trustee <br />Tuoheen,seconded by Trustee Mabie,same be approved as read,Motion Carried. <br />Moved by Trustee Merrill,seconded by Trustee Mabie, the action taken by the Board at <br />the last regular meeting in the discontinuing the Liquor License of Charles Luscher be <br />recinded,Motion Carried. <br />Communication received from Mr.E.W.Magruder regarding the laying of a sewer and side - <br />walk on Davis Street between Roosevelt and Oak Avenues was on motion of Trustee Tuchsen, <br />seconded by Trustee Merrill,it be the sense of this Board that some action be taken by <br />the property owners to lay sewer ,and sidewalk on Davis Street, between Roosevelt and <br />Oak Avenues before April 15th.1918,if not,some action will be taken.by the Board;also the <br />Clerk be instructed to write the property owners the action taken by this Board,Motion <br />"arried. <br />Communication from Col.Wm.K.Jones regarding the regulating all public dances ;was <br />received and filed,to be brought up at next meeting and on motion of Trustee Tuohsen, <br />seconded by Trustee McNulty the Chairman appoint a committee of three to take up all <br />matter in general with the Military Authorities at Camp Fremont and report at next meeting, <br />Motion Carried. <br />The Chairman appointed the following members to act In said Committee,Trustees,Carl K. <br />Mabie,H.C.Tucheen,and Geo.A.Merrill. <br />Application of the Fremont Liberty Club and Michael B.Mc.Fadden for permission to hold <br />a 3 o'clock dance on Apuil 6th.and April 13th.1918,waa received,and on motion of Trustee <br />Tucheen,seconded by Trustee Mc.Nulty said applications be left in the hands of the Police <br />Committee with the understanding a permit be granted until twelve o'clook,under the <br />endorsement .of Col.Jones,Motion Carried. <br />Communication from the Chamber of Commerce regarding the extension of Broadway,Marshall <br />and Bradford Streets to Chesnut Street was on motion of Trustee Tuoheen,seeonded by <br />Trustee Mc.Nulty same be received and filed, and the City Engineer be instructed to find <br />out the most feasile way and the cost;and the City Attorney be instructed to look after <br />the legal matter,Motion Carried. <br />Application of Gaetano 6asaretto to hold a I2 o'clock sooila dance on April 6th. -13th. <br />20th.and 27th.1918;was on motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee Mo -Nulty same be <br />granted,Motion Carried. <br />ORDINANCE NO -195 - <br />An Ordinance amending an Ordinance entitled"Ordinance NO.I06.-An Ordinance imposing <br />a license tax upon all persons doing business within the limits of the Town of Redwood <br />City,County of San Mateo,State of California;and to enforce the collection of the same" <br />passed and adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City on the 3rd -day <br />0 <br />d <br />
