RESOLVED that the said Board of Trus.tees of the Town of $edwood City hereby re-
<br />jects all of said proposals or bids except that next herein mentioned, and hereby awards
<br />the contract for doing said'work and making said improvements to the lowest responsible
<br />bidder,to-wit;

<br />at the prices named in their bid.

<br />The Town Clerk of said Town of Redwood City is hereby directed to post a notice of this
<br />!award conspicuously for five days,on or hear the council chamber door of the Board of TrusteEs i•
<br />!)f said Town of Redwood City,and also to publish a notice of this award by two inserations
<br />in the Redwood City Democrat,a weekly newspaper published,printed and circulated in said
<br />Town of Redwood City, and hereby designsted by said Board of Trustees for that purpose.

<br />and further action be referred to the new Board of Trustees,Motion Carried.

<br />I` Bradford Streets be received and referred to the new Board of Trustees,Motion Carried.

<br />WHEREAS,Joseph N.Winter,for a number of years Chief of the Fire Department of the
<br />Town of Redwood City,California,was called away from his earthly labors by the Supreme
<br />Universe on the 5th.day of Apri1,1918; and

<br />ClaieFire Department proved an able and efficient Fireman and in that capacity gave unsparingly
