<br />Richard Frederic Chilcott being first duly sworn desposes and
<br />says; that he signed the within petition and is one of the petitioners; that he has read
<br />said petition and .knows the contents thereof;that all the times mentioned in said petition
<br />he was and.now is a qulaified elector and resident of the Town of Redwood City, a
<br />municipal corporation situate in the County of San Mateo,State.of California, and.duly
<br />incorporated under the, General Laws of the State of California,as a municipality of the
<br />sixth class;
<br />That he is familiar with the boundaries of said Town; that he is acquainted with the
<br />inhabitants thereof and is acquainted with each and every one of the petitioners whose
<br />signatures are signed to said petition;that the signatures to said petition are the true
<br />and genuine signatures of each and all of said petitioners,severally and respectively;that
<br />he knows and therefore avers the fact to be that said petitioners do now and at the time of
<br />the signing of said petition constituted more than one-tenth of the number of the qualified
<br />electors of said Town of Redwood City as the number of said electors is computed upon the
<br />number of votes cast at the last general municipal election field in.said Toti.n;that said
<br />petition is signed by more than one-tenth in number of the gpalified electors of'sai•d Town
<br />as so computed;that at the time oii the signing of said petition and at all'.times subsequent
<br />thereto,the said petitioners,so constituting more than one-tenth in number of the qualified
<br />electors of said Town,as aforesaid,were,thence continued to be and now are qualified
<br />electors and residents of and within said Town of Redwood City, that he is informed and
<br />believes and upon his information and belief avers the fact to be that all the statements
<br />and allegations set forth and contained in said petition are true..
