<br />Said polling place has been found', and is hereby determined to be,a place suitable and
<br />proper for holding such special election, and said several persons have been found,and are
<br />hereby determined to be,qualified for said respective positions as required by law, and are
<br />hereby appointed such officers to cmnduct such elections and constitute said Board of
<br />Election;and said Board of Election and said offiwerd shall conduct, and are hereby directed

<br />to conduct,said election as by law and this Resolution provided, and to canvass the votes
<br />given and cast at said special -election, and to make and deliver returns thereof as required
<br />by law.

<br />And the qualified electors of said municipal corporayion, the said Town of Redwood
<br />Jity are hereby invited to vote upon the proposition of the proposed annexation of said
<br />new uninhabited territory to said municipal corporation, the said Totem of Redwood City,by
<br />marking upon thier ballots the words "for annexationf',orflagainst annexation°,and stamping
<br />the same as hereinafter provided.
<br />The manner of voting for or against the proposition whether such new uninhabited
<br />territory shall be annexed to,included in and made a part of said municipal corporation, the
<br />Town of Redwood City,shall be as follows,to-wit;
<br />A sufficient number of ballots shall be and is hereby directed to be prepared and
<br />caused to be printed on the proper kind of paper used. at general elections in the State of
<br />Jalifornia,by the Clerk of'said Town, and be furnished and provided fir the use of the
<br />roters at said election at the expense of said Town,said ballots to have in addition to the
<br />natter required by la.,i, the following printed ma.tter,to-,Nit;

<br />and it is hereby further ordered that any voter who desires to vote for and in favor of
<br />said proposition of annexinf to,incorporating in and making a part -of such corporation the
<br />new uninhabited territory so proposed to be annexed,may do so at said special election by
<br />stamping a cross(X) in the noting square on the right hand margin of his ballot after and
<br />opposite the words+1for annexation",and after such ballot shall have been so stamped and
<br />deposited in the ballot box it shall be canvassed and counted as required by law as a vote
<br />in gavor off such proposition and of such annexation.
<br />And that .any voter who desires to vote against said proposition of annexing to,including
<br />in and making a part of such municipal corporation, the said new uninhabited territory,so
<br />proposed to be annexed,may do so at said special election,by stamping a cross(X) in the'
<br />voting square on'the right hand margin of his ballot after and opposite the words"Against
<br />annexation",and after such ballot shall have been so stamped and deposited in the ballot
<br />box it shall be -canvassed and counted as provided by law as a vote against such proposition

<br />Said Mark shall he made only with a stamp,which,with the necessary pads and ink,shall be
<br />provided for each booth at said special electio4for that purpose.

<br />publication of a notice thereof at least once a week,for a period of two weeks next proceed8
<br />ing said I(.�th,da.y of July 1916, the day upon which speciel election sloall be held as here-
