<br />RESOLUTION AND CERTIFICATE OF THE RESULT
<br />of
<br />ELECTION FOR THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN
<br />NEW UNIN&ABITE7lr TERRITORY TO THE TOWN
<br />OF REDWOOD CITY.
<br />WHEREAS,at a meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City duly held on
<br />the •17t?J.day of June,1918,there was presented to and received by said Board a written
<br />petition signed by not less than one-tenth in number of all the qualified electors of said
<br />Town of Redwood City computed upon the number of votes cast at the last general municipal
<br />election held therein,which said petition asked that certain new uninhabited territory in
<br />said petition and hereinafter described be annexed to and incorporated in and made a part
<br />of such municipal corporation, and that the boundaries of said Town of Redwood City be

<br />WHEREAS,said petition was duly presented to the said Board of Trustees,and'was;thora-
<br />upon duly read,received and filed and considered.'>by said Board of Trustees and said Board
<br />of Trustees thereupon ordered and directed the Clerk of said Board without delay to notify
<br />the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, of the fact of the 7?e5w/f

<br />WHEREAS, thereafter,to-wit;on the 19th.day of June,1918,(the same being the next ensuing
<br />meting of said Board of Supervisors)said Clerk notified said Board of Supervisors at
<br />their chambers in the County Courthouse in Redwood City,County of San Mateo,State of
<br />California, of the fact of the filing of said petition; and
<br />WHEREAS,said Board of Supervisors thereupon duly and regularly passed and adopted its
<br />resolution and order fixing Monday, the Ist.day of July,1gIb.at the hour of IO o'clock A.M.
<br />of said day and the chambers of said Board of Supervisors in the County Courthouse in
<br />Redwood City in said County of San M&teo,State of California,as the time and. place when
<br />and wLiere objections to said annexation would be heard; and
<br />WHEREAS,said Board of SupervisorS.did then and there, and in and by said resolution
<br />order passed and adopted on said 19th.day of June,1918,as aforesaid order,that notice of
<br />said hearing,setting forth by general description the lands sought to be annexed to laid
<br />Town of Redwood City and announcing the time,and place when an8 where objections to said
<br />annexation would be heard as so fixed and set,be published and given for the time and in
<br />the manner required by law and said resolution and order afiredaid-and
<br />WHEREAS,said notice was thereafter duly published and given for the time and in the.
<br />manner required by law and said order of said Board of Supervisors of the County of San
<br />Mateo,State of Claifornia; and

<br />thereafter,to-wit;on the Ist.day of July,1918, and at the hour of IO o'Clock
