<br />Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City held.
<br />Upon roll call there were present Trustees; -President Carl K.YLabie.,M.E.Ryan,Geo.W.
<br />Mc.Nulty,J.C.Jones,Geo.A.Kreiss,Absent City Clerk W.A.Price.
<br />Trustee M.E.Ryan acting as Clerk of the Board.
<br />Minutes of regular meeting held October 2Ist.1918 and Special meeting held October
<br />28th.Igi8 were read and on motion of Trustee Kreiss,seconded by Trustee Jones same be
<br />approved as read.
<br />Application of the Pacific Gas & Electric Company for permission to set poles on
<br />Hudson Street as per Blue Print f 251 R attached was on motion of Trustee Jones,eeconded
<br />PY-&,&0 by Trustee Ryan,same be granted,Motion Carried..
<br />The following protest was received from Geo.d.Herrill r.elatibe to street work in
<br />Wellesley Park.

<br />Gentlemen;
<br />I am in receipt of a bill from A.H.Kopperud notifying me of assessment for
<br />oiling streets in front of my property in Wellesley Park, I wish to protest,
<br />and do hereby protest,against payment of said assessment and against the
<br />T/ -4,75-t acceptance of said work,on the ground that the cfork was not executed in
<br />accordance with the terms of the contract, I j
<br />is -The contract required all depressions to be filled before applying the
<br />A,Mehr,// oil, and this was not done, This condition exists in front of my property and
<br />over the entire area of the district. A loose layer of screenings having been
<br />left on the surface,these defects are concealed the,eby,but wherever traffic has
<br />thrown aside the screenings all the old chuck.holes,depressed sewer trenches,
<br />etc,are very much in evidence,

<br />The prbnted notice,above referred to,bears date of Oct.2,1918,but the envelope
<br />inwhich it was mailed to me is postmarked Oct,18, and it did not reach me soon enough
<br />for protest at your last meeting.
<br />Moved by Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee hie. -Nulty and carried,hearing on the
<br />foregoing protest be set for Nevember 18,rh.Ig18 at 7-30 o'clock P.M. and the clerk to
<br />post notice bhereof as required by law,Motion Carried.

<br />S M`-t�9nP�a� the Town of Redwood. City for the period of one year was granted on motion of Trustee
<br />and Son

<br />Mr.Short of the Merle Mfg.Company appeared before the Board relative to the placing j
<br />of their water meter,same was referred to the Supt.of Streets and Mr.Short to fix
<br />matter satisfactory to both parties
