Jones, City Clerk 7V.:.Price.3bsent Trustee Geo.A.Kreiss. <br />The yearly report of Chief of Fire Department M.E.Ryan,showing.the answering of <br />eleven calls for fire,e.nd two false alarms -fire damage from January Ist-1917 to and <br />including December 9th.1918,to be about 0 2,000,also recommending when conditions will <br />permit the building of a'Central Fire House,was read;,aiid on motion of Trustee McNulty, <br />seconded by Trustee Jones .said peport be received and criled,I.1otion Carried. <br />LT,oved by Trustee Mcllulty,seconded by Trustee Jones, the Board approve the action <br />of the Fire Department in electing the following officers for the coming year,; - <br />Fire Chief ------------------IL E.Ryan. <br />Ist.Assnt Fire Chief -------Julius Allain. <br />2nd rr n n--------Ed.Dearborn. <br />SeeretaWy----------------- A.S.Liguori <br />IaIr.E.H.Schroder appenated before the Bpard on citation of the follonring complaint. <br />To the Honorable Board of Trustees og the Town of Redwood city;. <br />Gentlemen; <br />Complaint is hereby made against E.H.Schroder who conducts the Schroder <br />Poolroom and bowling alley on I:Iain Street in Redwood City,California,Schroder has not <br />conducted his place of business in a proper manner as required by ordinance N076 of the <br />Town of Redwood City by reason of the fact that he has engaged in and permitted to he <br />played in his place of business for several weeks last past,and upon.Sunday the 8th.day <br />of December,1918, a game of draw poker for rponey and chips representing money which were <br />redeemable in money in violation of Ordinance 14o.189 of said Town. <br />Dated December 9th.1918. <br />C.L.Collins. <br />After hearing testimony of Officer C.L.Collins, and I61r.Schroder,it was on motion of <br />Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee Iacliulty,and carried,the foregoing complaint be laid on <br />the table for future reference,I,:otion Carried. <br />I.ioved by Trustee L'_c.Nnity,se.:onr?cd by Trustee Jones we do now adjourn,ISotion Oarried. <br />City Olork. <br />0 <br />
