J <br />475 <br />Redwood Oity,December 16th.19I8-7-30 o'clock P.M. <br />Regular meeting of Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City held. <br />Upon roll call there were present Trustees;-PresidentCarl K.I�iabie-M.E.Ryan-Goo.W. <br />Mc.Nulty-J.O.Jones-Geo.A.Kreiss-City Clerk W.A.Price. <br />Minutes of regular meeting held December 2nd.1918 and adjourned meeting held'Dedember <br />9th.1918•were,read and on motion of Trustee Jones,seconded by'Trustee Kreiss same be <br />approved as read,Kotion Carried. <br />Affidavit of Jas.D.Hedge in the Hatter of publication of application of the San Francis(so <br />and San Jose Transportation Company,was on motion of Trustee P;Ie.Nulty,seconded by Trustee Ay�ocq- <br />gones,same be received and filed,lilotion darried. r' <br />On motion of Trustee ITc.Nulty,seconded by Trustee Kreiss, the application of the San <br />;,• Francisco and San Jose Transportation Company to operate a Freight and' Express business <br />j through the Lown of Redwood City for a period of five years be granted,&Iotion Carried. <br />Application of the Fraternal Order of Eagles for a permit to hold a masquerade ball in <br />i; Forester's Hall on Doccriber 31st,19I8 until 3 o'clock was granted on motion of Trustee <br />is Ryan,seconded by Trustee Kreiss. <br />Application of the Army Bakers of Camp Fremont to hold a 3 o'clock dance on Saturday <br />night December 28th.1918 was on motion of Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee Mc Nulty and <br />t carried,same be granted, <br />II • <br />Application of the Druids Dodge for a permit to hold a dance in Forester's Hall from <br />8 o'clock P.Ili. to 3 o'clock A.M. on December 21St.1gI8 was granted on motion of 'Trustee <br />Ryan,seconded by Trustee Jones, <br />Application of the Young Bachelors Club for a permit to conduct a 3 o'clock dance on <br />Saturday evening January IIth.1919 ,was on motion of Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee <br />h1c.Nulty same be granted,Motion Carried. <br />Communication from T.Ahern relative to stop to be made by train IIO,vas on motion of <br />Trustee Jones,seconded by Trustee Mc.Nulty,same be received and filed. <br />A comu,unication from the Pacific Gas & Electric(;Con;pany regarding the removal of all <br />restriction covering light and power was on motion of Trustee Xrei8s,seconded by Trustee <br />Jones,same be received and filed. <br />Hoved by Trustee r, Ic.Nulty,seconded by Trustee Jones, a warrant be drawn in favor of <br />the City Treasurer for the purchase of 200 War Saving Stamps at their present value,said <br />stamps to be registered ,and kept in the custody of the City Treasurer.Motion Carried. <br />I.Ir.Fred Drake appeared before the Board in behalf of the Pratt,Lowe Preserving Co; <br />who are comtemplating locating in this City,relative to taking care of the sewerage for <br />them,after some discussion on the matter,it was on motion of Trustee Ryan,seconded by <br />` Trustee 11c.Nulty, and carried,the Clerk be instructed to write the Pratt,Lowe Company, <br />I, stating the Board was willing to take care of the sewerage from Villa Lots 8-9,10; and <br />1 co -overate with them in every way they possibly could; also City Engineer Dimmitt be <br />'i <br />A <br />F'r alf <br />n-aco <br />NB,ygr�lih^y <br />$err�Nag6 <br />
