<br />westerly line of James avenue extended northerly to connect with culvert crossing El
<br />Camino Real, also known as the County Road.
<br />All the hereinbefore and hereinabove mentioned work and improvements are to be
<br />done in accordance with the special plans and specifications heretofore adopted for doing
<br />said work and improvements by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City, on the
<br />28th day of February, 1916, and now on file in the office of the Clerk of the Town of
<br />Redwood City, tD which plans and specifications reference is hereby made for a further
<br />description of said work and for further particulars.
<br />AND WHEREAS, within the time fixed in said Resolution of Intention No,. 28, when
<br />and where any and all persons could appear before the Board of Trustees of the Town of
<br />Redwood City, and show cause why said proposed work described in said Resolution of In-
<br />tention No. 28, should not be carried out in accordance with said Resolution of Intention
<br />No. 28, certain owners of property liable to be assessed for the work and improvements de-
<br />scribed in said Resolution of Intention No. 28, made written protest against the proposed
<br />work and improvements.
<br />AND WHEREAS, the time for protesting agains the proposed work desoribed in Resolu-
<br />tion of Intention No. 28, has fully expired.
<br />AND WHEREAS, it appears to the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City, that
<br />the owners of property liable to be assessed for the work and improvements described in
<br />Resolution of Intention No. 28, who have made written protest against said work and im-
<br />provements are not the owners of a majority of the property fronting on the proposed work
<br />and improvements described in said Resolution of Intention No. 28;
<br />AND WHEREAS, the Bowrd of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City, proceeded to hear
<br />and pass upon said protests and having duly heard and considered the same, it is hereby
<br />RESOLVED, by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City, that the written
<br />protests heretofore filed by Edward MoGary, against the proposed work and improvements do -
<br />scribed in Resolution of Intention No. 28, be and the same are hereby overruled.
<br />Passed and adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City, at a reg-
<br />ular meeting of said Board held on the 20th day of March, 1916, by the following vote:
<br />Ayes and in favor of thepassage of the foregoing Resolution, Trustees,
<br />Deleau. Hahir, Sampson. Tuoheen, Merrill.
<br />Noes and agains the passage.of the foregoing Resolution, Trustees,
<br />None.

<br />Communication relative to celebration at San Jose July 4th, was received and filed.
<br />Clerk was instructed to notify Dr.J. L. Ross, Health Officer. To communicate with
<br />j the Geo. H. Irving Company to abate the nuisance caused by the delay in completing the
<br />oess-pool on James Avenue.
<br />Trustee Hahir presents the following Resolution and Moved its adoption Trustee

<br />RESOLUTION ORDERING THE WORK N0, 28.
<br />RESOLVED, that whereas the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwwod City, did on
<br />the 28th day of February, 1916, pass its Resolution of Intention No. 28, to order the here-
<br />inafter described work to be done and imprpvements to be made in said Town,which Resolu-
