OlZeefe, now on file in the office of the Clerk of the Town <br />of Redwood City. <br />AND WHEREAS, notices of the passage of said Resolution of Intention No. 28, <br />headed "Notice of Improvement" were duly and legally posted along the line of said oontem- <br />plated work and improvements and in front of all property liable to be assessed in form and <br />i <br />manner as required by law, as appears from the affidavit of J.C.Dickey, Street Superintend- <br />ent of said Town of Redwood City, which said affidavit of said J.C.Dickey, is on file in <br />the office of the Clerk of the Town of Redwood City. <br />AND WHEREAS, it appears from the affidavit of J.C.Diokey hereinbefore mention- <br />ed mentioned that the posting of the notices of improvement as aforesaid was completed on , <br />the 8th day of Maroh, 1916; <br />AND WHEREAS, in and by said Resolution of Intention No. 28, the Board of <br />Trustees of said Town of Redwood City did fix MONDAY the 20th day of March, 1916, at the <br />hour of 7:30 P -M-, of said day, at the meeting place of the Board of Trustees of the Town <br />of Redwood City, in the Counoil Chamber in the Town Hall, on Webster street•in the Town of <br />Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State of California, as the day, hour and place when and <br />where any, and all persons having any objections to the proposed work and improvements de- <br />scribed in Resolution of Intention No. 28,00uld appear before the Board of Trustees of the <br />Town of Redwood City and show cause why said proposed work and improvements should not be <br />carried out in accordance with said Resolution of Intention No. 28; <br />AND WHEREAS, at the time fixed in said Resolution of Intention No. 28, when <br />and where any and all persons objecting to the proposed work and improvements described in <br />siad Resolution of Intention No. 28,could appear before the Board of Trustees of the Town <br />of Redwood City, and show cause why said proposed work and improvements should not be car- <br />ried out in accordance with said Resolution of Intention No. 28, certain persons appeared <br />and certain owners of property liable to be assessed for the work and improvements describ- <br />ed in said Resolution of Intention No- 28, made, written protest against said work and im- <br />prbvements described in said Resolution of Intention. No. 28; <br />AND WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City by resolution <br />heretofore passed and adopted overruled said above mentioned protests against the work and <br />improvements described in said Resolution of hntention No. 28; <br />THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the public interest and convenience require the <br />work and improvements herein described, and the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood <br />City, hereby orders the following work to be done and improvements to be made in said Town, <br />to -wit: - <br />That El Camino Real, also known as the County Road, in the Town of Redwood <br />Olity be improved by having the hereinafter described portions thereof graded,to-wit:- <br />All that portion of the roadway of E1 Camino Real, also known as the County <br />Road,in the Town of Redwood City,lying northerly from a line 12 feet northerly from and par- <br />allel to the center line of said El Camino Real, also known as the County Road, and be- <br />ginning at the center line of Rbgers street extended southerly and running in an easterly <br />direction to the westerly line of Woodside Road extended northerly to the northerly line <br />of El Camino Real, also known as the Coun,y Road, extended easterly same being the east- <br />erly limits of the Town of Redwood City, including all portions of all street intersections <br />1 <br />and all portions of all street terminations lying northerly from a line 12 feet northerly <br />from and parallel to the said center line of said El Camino Real, also knpwn as the County <br />Road, excepting,however, from the above described work and improvements all that portion <br />of the intersection of Broadway and El Camino Real, also known as the: County Road, lying <br />northerly from a line 12 feet northerly from and parallel to the center line of said El <br />
