said Town, hereinabove referred to, that he completed the posting of the Notices of <br />Improvement above mentioned on the 19th day of February, 1916; <br />AND WHEREAS, said Board of Trustees of said Town of Redwood City, in and by said <br />Resolution of Intention No. 24, fixed Monday the 6th day of March, 1916, at the hour of <br />7.30 o'clock P.M. of said day at the meeting place of said Board of Trustees of the Town <br />of Redwood City, in the Council Chamber in the Town Hall, on Webster street in the Town <br />of Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State of California, as the day, hour and place when <br />and where any and All persons having any objections to the proposed work and improvements <br />described in said Resolution of Intention .No. 24, may appear before the Board of Trustees <br />of said Town of Redwood City and show cause why said proposed work and improvements should <br />not be carried out in accordance with said Resolution of Intention; and <br />WHEREAS, at the day, hour and place fixed in said Resolution of Intention No. 24, <br />when and where any and all persons having any objections to the proposed work and improve- <br />ments described in said Resolution of Intention No. 24, may appear before the Board of <br />Trustees of said Town of Redwood City and show cause why said proposed work and improve- <br />ments should not be carried out in accordance with said Resolution of Intention no per- <br />sons appeared before said Board of Trustees of said Town objecting to said proposed work <br />and improvements described in said Resolution of Intention No. 24 and at said day, hour <br />and place there were no objections of any kind or nature made against said proposed work <br />and improvements described in said Resolution of Intention No. 24; <br />BE IT RESOLVED, that the public interest and convenience require the work <br />and improvements herein described, and the Board of Trustees of said Town of Redwood City <br />hereby orders the following work to be done and improvements to be made in said Town of <br />Redwood City, to -wit: - <br />That Main Street be improved in the Town of Redwood City by having the asphaltic wear- <br />ing surface and binder removed from a strip 36 inched in width immediately adjacent to the <br />curb line on the easterly side of Main street from a point 309 feet north of the northerly <br />curb line on the easterly side of said Main street from a point 309 feet north of the north a <br />erly curb line of Broadway produeedI easterly to the easterly ct.rb line of said Main street <br />southerly to the northerly line of Stambaugh street produced westerly to the easterly curb <br />line of Main street and also having asphaltic wearing surface and binder removed from a <br />strip 36 inches in width immediately adjacent to the curb line on the easterly side of Main <br />strret from the southerly line of Stambaugh street produced westerly to the easterly nurb <br />line of Main Street, southerly to a point 97 feet southerly from the southerly line of <br />Stambaugh street produced westerly to the easterly curb line of.Main Street, and also hav- <br />ing the asphaltic wearing surface and binder removed from a strip 36 inches in width im- <br />mediatEly adjacent to the curb line on the westerly side of Main street from the southerly <br />line of Broadway produced easterly to the westerly curb line of Main street, southerly for <br />a distance of 585 feet; and that Broadway and Washington street in the Town of Redwood <br />City be improved by having the asphaltic swearing surface and binder removed from a strip <br />j36 inches in width immediately adjacent to the curb line from the southerly line of Broad- <br />way produced easterly to the westerly curb line of Main Street around the radius of the <br />y curb line and along the southerly side of Broadway immediately adjacent to the curb line <br />' to a point on the easterly curb line of Washington street, said point being being 5 feet <br />southerly from the intersection of the southerly line of Broadway produced westerly and <br />the easterly curb line of Washington street,and also having the asphaltic wearing surface <br />and binder removed from a strip 36 inches in width immediately adjacent to the curb line <br />from the northerly line of Broadway produced easterly to the westerly curb line of Main <br />Street around the radius of the curb line and along the northerly side of Broadway immedi- <br />ately adjacent to the curb line to the northerly line of Broadway produced westerly to the <br />
