82 <br />Said bonds are issued by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City in accordance <br />with the provisions and by the authority of an act of the Legislature of the State of <br />California,entitled,"An Act authorizing the incurring of indebtedness by cities,town and <br />:municipal corporations for municipal improvements and regulating the acquisition, construction <br />jar completion thereof",in effect February 2.5th,190I, and found in the Statutes of 1901 at <br />page 27,together with all acts amendatory thereof. <br />Sealed.proposals for the purchase of said bonds will be received by the Board of <br />!Prustees of said Town of Redwood City at the office of the Clerk of said Town of Redwood Citi, <br />i3ounty of San Mateo,State of California. <br />Proposals must be in sealed envelopesmand addresses to or left with the Clerk of the <br />!Vown of Redwood City at any time after the first publication of this notice and until 8 <br />WBlock P.M.of the I¢th.day of July,1919. <br />Bidders must bid upon said bonds as a whole. <br />A certified check made payable to the President of the Board of Trustees of the Town of <br />Redwood City in the sum of five thousand (0 5000) dollars must accompany each bid,Check of <br />sucoessful bidder to be returned upon the rejection of 'their bids, Cheek of successful <br />bidder to be forfeited to said Town of Redwood City for failure on the part of said bidder <br />to comply with bid.
