<br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED,that the rate of taxes for the fiscal year 1919-1920 upon each
<br />one hundred dollars of the assessed valuation of the property in said Town of Redwood City,
<br />as said Town existed prior to the 28th.day of llay,1903,for the purpose of the payment of
<br />the Electric Light Bonds of said Town falling due and be.cbm�ng payable during said fiscal
<br />year together with the interest thereon,be,and the,same is hereby fixed at one and one half
<br />cents; and
<br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the total rate of taxes upon each one hundred dollars of
<br />the assessed valuation of the property in said Town of Redwood City,as said Town existed

<br />prior to the 28th.day of May,1903,for the fiscal year I919-1920,for all.purposes,be and the

<br />same is hereby fixed at one dollar and eighty four cents; and

<br />RESOLUTION ORDERING THE WORK NO.0-II.
<br />RESOLVED, that whereas the Board of Trustees of the. Town of Redwood City did on the 25thi
<br />day of August,1919,pass its resolution of Intention No.C'.II to order therhereinafter
<br />described work to be done and improvements to be made in said Town,which Resolution of
<br />Intention No.C.II was duly and legally published as required by law,as appears from the
<br />affidavit of D.E.O(Keefe now on file in the office of the Clerk of said Town of Redwood City;
<br />and
<br />T' �H.EREAS,notice of the passage of said Resolution of Intention No.B.II headed "NOTICE OF
<br />IIaLPROVEPJTEIIT" were duly ang legally posted along the line of said contemplated work and
<br />improvements and in front of all property liable to be assessed therefor,in form and manner
<br />as required by law,as appears from the affidavit of Edward Dearborn,Street Superintendent
<br />of said and now on file in the office of the Clerk of said Town of Redwood City; and
<br />VMREAS,it appears from the affidavit of said Edward Dearborn,said Street Superintendent
<br />that the posting of said notices of Improvement,as aforesaid was completed -on the 2nd.day
<br />of September,1919; and
<br />AND 1MREAS,in and by said Resolution of Intention No.C.II and in and by said notice of
<br />improvement so posted as aforesaid iionday the 15th.day of September,1919,at the hour of
<br />8 o'clock P.11. df said day at the meeting place of the Board of Trustees of the Town of
<br />Redwood City in the Council Chamber in the Town Hall on Webster Street in said Town of
<br />Redwood City,County of San ISateo,State of California,was fixed as the day,hour and place
<br />when and where any and all persons could appear before the Board of Trustees of said Town
<br />and show cause why said proposed work and improvements described in said Resolution of
<br />Intention No.C.II,and in said notices of improvements should not be curried in accordance
<br />with,said,Resolution of Intention No.CTII;
<br />AND WHEREAS,at said time and place fixed in said Resolution of Intention No.0-II and in
<br />said notice If improvement so posted as aforesaid no person or persons appeared and no
<br />objections of any kind were made against said work and improvements described in said
<br />Resolution of Intention No.0-II;
<br />THEREFORE'BE IT RESOLVED,that the public interest and convenience require the work herein
<br />described, and the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City hereby orders the following
<br />work to be done and improvements to be made in said Town,to-wit;
