135 <br />Trustee I9c.Nulty offers the following Resolution and moves its adoption, Trustee Kreiss <br />seconds the motion. <br />��C <br />Resolved by the Board of Trustees of the Torm of Redwood City, <br />THAT WHEREAB,it appears to the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City that in <br />P <br />Local Improvement District No -14 of said Town the first assessment levied by the,Board of <br />Trustees of said Town in 2909 was insufficient to complete said improvement; and <br />WHERM S it further appears to said Board of Trustees that it is necessary to raise <br />App <br />the sum of 2008.94. to complete the improvement in said local Improvement District No.14 <br />h <br />of the Town of Redwood City; and . <br />WHEREAS,it further appears to the Board of Trustees that in a similar deficiency in <br />district No.13 the District Court of Appealof the First Appellate District of the State <br />of California,Division Number One did on the 24.th.day of November,Iglg,issue a Prempetory <br />Writ of Mandate ditected to the Board of Trustees of the Town. of Redwood City directing <br />i <br />them to levy a second assessment on the real property described in said didtrict NO -13 <br />immediatley to collect the amount of said deficiency together with the cost of making <br />said assessment; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that C.L.Dimmitt,be and he is hereby appointed an <br />engineer for the purpose of making,preparing and submitting to this Board of Trustees as <br />assessment upon the real property described'in local Improvement District.No.14. of the <br />Town. of Redwood City in the sum of N 2008.94 together with the costs ,of making said <br />r <br />assessment added thereto. <br />Passed and adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City at a regular <br />meeting of said Board held on the 15th,day of December,Iglg,by the following vote; <br />T <br />r <br />Ayes and tun favor of the passage of the foregoing Resolution,Trustees, <br />IrI.E.Ryan,Geo.W.Mc.Nulty,J.C,Jones,Geo.A.ISreiss,Carl K.Alabie. <br />Y <br />---------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br />Noes and against the passage of the foregoing Resolution,Trustees, <br />F <br />None. <br />F <br />--- ---------- ------------------------------------------------------------- <br />Absent,Trustees,None. <br />-------------------------- <br />Carl K.Mabie. <br />fPresident <br />of -the Board of -Trustees of the - <br />Town of Redwood City. <br />Attest.W.A.Price. <br />'Y <br />p <br />----------- <br />Clerk of the Town of Redwood City. <br />F <br />k <br />I hereby approve the foregoing Resolution this 15th.day of December,IgIg. <br />Carl I£.
