<br />the amount of this second and additional assessment against each of said lots or parcels,
<br />shall be and constitute the second and additional assessment made and levied upon the
<br />respective parcels of land included within said Assessment District No -13 for the purpose
<br />aforesaid;
<br />And the amount of money expressed in dollars and cents under the heading "Amount of
<br />this Second and Additional Assessment" set opposite each respective parcel or subdivision
<br />of land therein as indic4ted^8y the respeotive red ink numbers thereof,shall in each case
<br />constitute said is the amount off the assessment hereby levied thereon.
<br />2. And this Board now determines that -serial bonds shall not issue in respect to said
<br />second and additional assessment..
<br />,3. And that no interest is to be allowed on said bonds and that no deferred payments are.
<br />to be allowed on said assessment.
<br />4. That March I,1920, at 7-30 014lock P.M. in the chamber or room wherein.this Board of
<br />Trustees regularly meet in the City Hall in the Town of Redw¢Sd City,State of Claifornia,
<br />be and the same is hereby appointed,as the time and place when and where all property
<br />owners within said district may appear before this Board of Trustees and sbLow`-aause,if
<br />any they have,why said sedond and additional assessment should not be made as provided
<br />for in said report,and why said said assessment should not become a lien upon -the property
<br />in the said district as assessed therein.
<br />%55. That the exterior boundaries of the district heretofore declared by this Board to be
<br />nefited by the -improvement and assessed to pay the costs and expenses thereof,is fully
<br />set forth in said report and in the resolution of this Board levying the first and•origin-
<br />al assessment in phis proceeding adopted,passed and aproved September 7,1909,which said
<br />resolution appears at length in the record of this Board in Volume IOQ of the minutes of
<br />this Board,commencing at page 2, to which said resolution and the -record thereof as
<br />aforesaid,express reference is hereby made.
<br />Passed and adopted by the Board of Trustees ofmthe Town of Redwood City at a regular
<br />meeting of said Board held on the.2nd.day of February,1920, by the following vote;

<br />Trustee Sreiss offers the following Resolution and moves its adoption,Trustee Jones
<br />seconds the motion.
<br />WHEREAS the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City did,under the provisions of
<br />"LOCAL' IMPROVEMENT ACT OF 190I" by resolution duly adopted,passed and approved on September
<br />7,1909,levy an assessment upon the respective parcels of land within the exterior bound-
<br />aries of Assessment District No.14 of the Town of Redwood City,to pay for certain work in
<br />said municipality and distriet,to wit, that the roadway of certain streets and portions
<br />of streets within said district be graded to the official grade for macadamizing and
<br />macadamized, and that cement sidewalks and cement curbs be constructed thereon, and
<br />WHEREAS the said resolution levying the said assessment was confirmed by a resolution
<br />of said Board duly adopted,passed and approved bu the 93ghteenth day of November,1909, and
<br />WHEREAS the map and list constituting said assessment was thereafter,to wit;on
<br />Novenher 26,1909,filed for record in the office of the Tax Collector of said municipality
<br />and recorded by him according to law in the Book of Assessments at pages 47 to 55,both
<br />I inclusive, and
<br />WHEREAS said first assessment proved insufficient and was and is insufficient to
<br />complete the improvement or to pay the contract price and the incidental expenses of the
<br />proceeding, and it appears necessary to raise $ 2008T94 to epmplete the improvement, and
<br />WHEREAS the said Board of Trustees by resolution duly adopted,passed and approved
<br />on the fifteenth day of December,1919, appointed C.L.Dimmitt,City Engineer of said Town
<br />of Redwood City,an engineer for the purpose of making,preparing and submitting to this
<br />Board of Trustees an assessment upon the real property described in Assessment District No.
<br />14 of the Town of Redwood City.in the sum of $ 2008.94;together with the costs of making
<br />said assessment added thereto, and
<br />WHEREAS said C.L.Dimmitt,City Enginaer,so appointed an& directed as aforesaid ,did
<br />this day file with the Clerk of this municipality the report called Jor by Section•3 of
