1, 54 <br />0 <br />for by the laws of the State of California,for the purpose and to the end of having, <br />acquiring,construoting and establishing such municipal improvement. <br />Trustee Ryan seconds the motion, and upon roll call the same was passed and adopted <br />at a regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the said Town of Redwood City,County <br />of San Mateo, State of California,held on the 16th.day of February,1920,by the following <br />vote; <br />Ayes and in favor of the passage of the foregoing Resolution, Trustees, <br />M.E.Ryan,Geo.W.Me.Nulty,J.C.Jones,Geo.A.Kreiss,Carl K.Mabie. <br />------------------------------------------------------------------------ <br />Noes and against the passage of the foregoing Resolution,Trustees, <br />None. <br />------------------------------------------------------------------------ <br />Absent,Trustees,None. <br />----------------------------------------------------------------------- <br />Carl K.Mabie. <br />------------------------------------------ <br />President of the Board of Trustees of the <br />Town of Redwood City. <br />Attest.W.A.Price. <br />----------- -------------------- <br />Clerk of the Town of Redwood City. <br />I hereby approve the foregoing Resolution this 16th.daylof Pebruary,1920. <br />Carl X.Mabie. <br />------------------------------------------ <br />President of the Board of Trustees of the <br />Town of Redwood City. <br />Application of Harry G.Walsh for the position of Night watchman was on motion of Trustee <br />Ryan,seconded by Trustee Kreis.s same be received and filed,Motion Carried. <br />canyon of the Pacific Gas & Electric Company for permission to replace a 35 foot <br />pole of the Town of Redwood City,with'.a heavier pole was on motion of Trustee Ryan,seconded <br />by Trustee Mc.Nulty same be granted,Motion Carried. <br />A communication from Pratt -Lowe Preserving Company regarding the sewer situation for <br />the plant was on motion of Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee Jones the Clerk be instructed <br />to write the Pratt -Lowe Company informing them the Sewer proposition would be attended to, <br />Motion Carried. <br />'Application of the Aviation Day Committee requesting permission to hold a 3 o'clock <br />dance in Forester's Hall on March 20th.and 27th.1920 was on motion of Trustee Me.Nulty, <br />seconded by Trustee Kreiss and carried said permit be granted. <br />Application of the Peerless Novelty Dance Orchestra�f San Francisco for a permit to <br />hold a I o'clock dance in Forester's Hall on Wednesday evening Febrgary 25th.1920,same <br />was granted on motion of Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee Kreiss and carried. <br />Application of the Terpsichore Club for permission to hold a 3 o'clock dance in Forester!. - <br />Hall on Saturday nights of March 6th. and 13th.I92O,was on motion of Trustee Ryan,seconded <br />by Trustee Kreiss and carried same be granted. <br />Application of G.Casaretto for permission to hold a I2 o'clock dance Saturday night <br />February 2Ist.1920 ,same be granted on motion of Trustee Jones,seconded by Trustee Mo.Nulty <br />and carried. <br />Moved by Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee Me.Nulty and carried, the Supt,of Water be <br />instructed to'lay a ¢ inch cast iron •;.*a.ter main along Hillview Drive from Brewster Ave,to <br />Whipple Ave,in Oak Sall Manor Subdivision, <br />The report of City Engineer Dimmitt giving the approximate cost for improvement on <br />portion of Redwood Avenue,Gordan Street and King Street,was on motion of Trustee Ryan, <br />seconded by Trustee Kreiss,same be received and filed for future reference,Motion Carried. <br />0 <br />
