<br />That the nature of its title to all of said real property is that of owner;
<br />That it objects to a4d protests against the levying of said second and additional
<br />assessmeft upon the foolowing grounds.;
<br />I;- Thatno improvement is comtemplated by said resol4tion,
<br />2; That •the improvement in said resolution referred to has heretofore been completed
<br />and accepted and full payment therefor has heretofore been made, -
<br />3; -That assessment against the lands of this prptestant,as hereinabove described, for

<br />WHEREFORE, said Redwood Highlands Company, a corporation,objects to said proposed
<br />levying of a second and additional assessment, and prays that no further proceedings be
<br />taken in the matter.

<br />WHEREAS,this Board of Trustees did on the 2nd.day of February,1920,dnly adopt a
<br />resolution adopting and approving the report of C.L.Dimmitt, City Engineer,filed on
<br />said day with the Clerk of said Tows. of Redwood City,which report relates to the matter.
<br />of levying a second and additional assessment upon the lots,parcels and subdivisionsodf
<br />land within the "Assessment District No-1411bof the Town of Redwood City,Std a of California.
<br />by which said resolution the Baird of Trustees did among other things levy a second and
<br />additional assessment upon the lots and lands and subdivisions of property within said,
<br />district for the purpose of paying for the improvement heretofore ordered and done in
<br />daid preceedings, and which said resolution further fixed this Ist.day of llarch,1920, at
<br />the hour of 7-30 o'lcok P.M- in the Council Chamber or room therein the B4rd of Trustees
<br />of the Town of Redwood City regularly meets, in the Town Hall on Webster Street, in the
<br />Town of Redwood City,State of California,as the time and place for the hearing provided fcr
<br />by Section 5 of the It Local Improvement Act of 190I11; and
<br />11 WHEREAS, the matter of the hearing of said objections came on regularly to be heatd
<br />on tUs Ist.day of March,1920, at 7-30 o'clock P.M- of said day,in the chambers of said
<br />Board in said Town Hall as aforedaid, and this Board did before proceeding with said
<br />hearing enter upon the minutes of the meeting an order reciting that notice of said hear-
<br />ing has been posted and published according to law; and
<br />WHEREAS, this Board did thereupon proceed with the hearing of any and all objection:
<br />made in writing and filed with the Clerk of this municipality, and did hear all objection:
<br />so filed, and did fully and completely finish the said hearing,which said hearing is now
<br />closed;
<br />RESOLVED that all objections filed in the said matter be, and the same ate hereby
<br />pverruled, and be -it further
<br />RESOLVED tha t said resolution adopted on the 2nd.day of February,1920,in the majajre3
<br />of Assessment District N0,14 as aforesaid, and said report of C.L.Dimmitt,City Enginner
<br />filed on said 2nd.day of February,192O)with the Clerk of said Town of Redwood City in
<br />said matter and proceeding, and said assessment so made and levied in and by said resolut:
