<br />IN THE MATTER OF LEVYING OF A SECOND AND ADDITIONAL ASSESSMENT
<br />IN RE"ASSEESMENT DISTRICT NO.14-'r
<br />WHEREAS, this Board of Trgatees did on the 2nd.day of February,192O,duly adopt a
<br />resolution adopting and approving the report of C.L.Dimmitt,City Engineer,,fila d on said
<br />day day 'with the Clerk of said Town of Redwood 'City,whioh said report relates to the matter
<br />of levying a second and additional assessment upon the lots,parcels and subdivisions of
<br />land within the "assessment District No -14'1 pf the Town of Redwood,City,State of California,,
<br />by which said resblution the said Board of Trustees did among other things levy a second
<br />and attitional assessment upon the lots end lands and subdivisions of property within
<br />said district for the purpose of paying for tbe. improvement heretofore ordered and done in
<br />said proceedings, and which said resolution farther fixed this Ist.day of Maroh,1920, at
<br />the hour .of 7.30 O clock P.M. in the Council Chamber or room wherein the BcaLrd of Trustees
<br />of the Town of Redwood City regularly meets,in the Town Hall on Webster Street,in the Town
<br />of Redwood City,Stat a of California,as the time and place for the hearing provided for by
<br />Section 5 of the "Local Improvement Act of 190111; and
<br />WHEREAS, at said time so fixed: by this Boa, rd as aforesaid, there was and is on file
<br />with this Board an affidavit that the notice of said hearing cottaining the matters and
<br />things required and specified by Section 6 of the"L cal Improvement.Act of 19012, and.
<br />hegdedJas therein required,had been posted along alf streets,lanes, alleye,courts and
<br />places or public ways within said assessment district at distances not more than 'three
<br />.hundred feet apart(but not less than three in ali).,at least ten days prior to the time set
<br />for the said hearing as aforesaid, And also an affidavit of the Printer and Publisheff of
<br />Times -Gazette, a newspaper of general circulation published and. circulated in the Town of
<br />Redwood City, to the effect that the said notice was published in.said newspaper, -at least
<br />ten days before the date of the said hearing as aforesaid; now therefore be it
<br />RESOLVED, and this. Board of Trustees does hereby make its findings' and order and
<br />recite that notice of said hearing has been posted and published according to law.
<br />Passed and adopted by thr Bc&rd of Trustees of the Town of Redwool City at`a regular
<br />meeting of said Board held on this Ist,day of March,1920,by the following vote;
<br />Ayes and in favor of the passage of the foregoing Resolution,Trustees,
<br />M.E.Ryan,Geo.W.Me.Nulty,J.C.Jonee.Geo.A:Breiss, Carl K.Mabie.

<br />of the State of California,does hereby abject to and protest against the levying of a
<br />second and additional assessment against real property within .Sssesement Distrio* No -14,
<br />provided for by your resolution No. ,adopted on the 2nd.day of February,1920, and for
<br />ground of objection states;
