'd 5 <br />Redwood City,April 19th.1920,8 o'clock P.I,i. <br />Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the To= of Redwood City held. <br />i <br />Upon roll call there were present; Trustees President Carl K.Alabie,Ia.E.Ryan, Geo.W.Mc.Nulty <br />J.C.Jones,Geo.A.Krreiss,City Clerk W.A.Price. <br />I;Iinutes of regular meeting held April 5th.1920 and regular adjourned meeting held <br />April 13th.192O were read and on motion of Trustee I,Ic.Nulty,seconded by Trustee Kreiss <br />and carried same be ap;iroved as read. <br />A petition signed by four hundred and fifty voters of Redwood City asking that <br />The American Legion be granted permission to hold Boxing matches or Bouts ,was on motion <br />of Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee ISc.Ilulty and carried, said petition be received and <br />filed. <br />Moved by Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee Iaic.Nulty and carried, the petition of <br />The American Legion asking for permission to hold Boxing Bouts be laid over to the <br />meeting of May 3rd.1920. <br />Communication from L.F.Prior 260 Fulton Street regarding shutting off water during <br />repair on mains,was on motion of Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee Kreiss and carried <br />same be referred to Supt.of Water System Dearborn. <br />Communication from the United Lumber & Supply Company regarding the removal of <br />lumber on Bradford Street ,was on motion of Trustee Kreiss,seconded by Trustee Ryan, <br />said Company be granted reasonable time to remove all lumber and material from the <br />street,Iaotion Carried. <br />Application of the N.S.G.iJ. I1o.66 asking permis.:ion to hold a three O'clock dance <br />I in Forester's Hall on April 2¢th.1920,v✓as granted on motion of Trustee McITulty,seconded <br />by Trustee Kreiss and carried. <br />Application of Bonita Parlor Ido.IO,N.D.G.VI:asking permission to hold a three o'clock <br />dance in Forester's Hall I,Iay 15th.1920,was granted on motion of Trustee Kreiss,seconded <br />by Trustee Jones and carried. <br />Application of the Student Body of the Sequoia Union High School to hold a twelve <br />o'clock dance in Forester's Hall Friday evening I,Iay 21st.I92O ,was granted on motion <br />of Trustee Jones,seconded by Trustee Xreiss and carried. <br />Application of the Llay Day Celebration Committee for permit to hold a three o'clock <br />dance ih Forester's Hall and Alhambra Hall on Saturday night I,Iay Ist.1920,was granted <br />on motion of Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee 'reiss and carried. <br />Application of G.Casaretto for permission to hold a twelve o'clock dance on Saturday <br />evening April 2¢th.1920 same be granted on motion of Trustee I,Ic.Nulty,seconded by <br />Tructee Ryan, <br />Application of E.V.Lacey,Oal;land•for a Llaster's Plumber License for the year 19209 <br />said application bias „ranted on motion of Trustee I,Ic.Ilulty,seconded by Trustee Kreiss <br />and carried. <br />Com..unication from the Cwlifornia State Conference of Social Agencies regarding the <br />Convention to be hold at Riverside on Lay 5th.to 8th. 1920 was on motion of Trustee <br />i <br />I,:c.Iiulty.seconded by Trustee Jones same be received and filed. <br />Affidavit of D.E.O'Keefe in the matter of publishing notice of Idominees for Public <br />office at General I.iunicipal Elect on and affidavit of Jas.D.Hedge in matter of publishing <br />notice of nominees for public office an d the General Municipal Election and also of <br />publishing Ordinance IIo.205 calling for a special Bond Election was on motion of Trustee <br />I,Ic.11ulty,seconded by Tructee Kreiss same be received and filed,Uotion Carried. <br />
