<br />Redwood City,May 24th,1920 -7-30 o'clock P,M.
<br />Special meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City held.
<br />Upon roll call there were present; -Trustees President M.E,Ryan,Carl K.Mabie,H.C.Tucheen,
<br />Geo.W:McNulty,City Clerk W.A.Price,Absent Trustee Geo.A.Kreiss.
<br />Affidavit of C.L.Collins,Town Marshall in the matter of serving notice upon Trustee Pd,E,
<br />Ryan,Carl K.Mabie,H.C.Tuchsen,and Geo.W.Mollulty,for the calling of a special meeting of
<br />said Board for Monday the 24th.day of May,1920,at the hour of 7-30 o'clock P,M.at the
<br />Town Hall of said Town of Redwood City,was on motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by Tru&,tee
<br />McNulty said 42fidavit be received and filed,Motion Carried. -
<br />Moved by Trustee McNulty,seconded by Trustee Mabie, the old school building owned by
<br />the City and situated back of the City Hall, and now used as a Kindgergarcden school be
<br />donated to the Board of Trustee of the Redwood City Grammer Distriet,Motion Carried.
<br />On motion of Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee McNulty, the plans and specifications
<br />of City Engineer Dimmitt for a 15 inch sewer from the existing manhole situated on center
<br />line of Chestnut Street to the Pratt Low Preserving Company at Heller and Willow Streets
<br />be accepted by the Board.
<br />Also the Town Clerk be instructed to advertise for sealed proposals,or bids ,up to
<br />'and including the hour of 8 o'clock P.M.of Monday the 7th.day of June,1920, for doing the
<br />following work to -wit; -
<br />CONSTRUCTING complete a 15 inch sewer on Heller Street from Willow Street to Chestnut
<br />Street,and on Chestnut Street from Heller Street to connect with existing manhole located,
<br />on center line of Chestnut Street at a point 180 feet southerly from the northerly end of
<br />Chestnut Street -,consisting of approximately 4,400 lineal feet of sewer .All bidders shall
<br />bid upon furnishing all material and doing said work complete, and shall also bid on
<br />doing all of said work, the Town. of Redwood City to furnish the sewer pipe on the cars
<br />at Redwood City,Motion Carried.
<br />On motion of Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee McNulty, the Town Clerk be instructed
<br />to advertise for sealed proposals or bids up to and including the hour` of, 8'oIoloak-P.M,
<br />of Monday the 7th.day of June 1920. for furnishing the following pipe to wit;- p
<br />4,400 feet of 15 inch double strength vitrified the sewerpipe F.O.B. cars Redwood
<br />City.Motion Carried.
<br />Moved by Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee Tuchsen,Mr.Finank Bryant be given permission
<br />to occupy 25 feet for storage in either end of the Municipal Warehouse, at the rental of
<br />Oris Dollar per monthgpL,Mr:.Bryant.�todotand all rish of fire and thieft,Motion Carried.
<br />On motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee McNulty -on the recommendation of City
<br />Engineer Dimmitt, the Outfall sewer contract -and the pump pinnt at the outfall newer be
<br />accepted by the Board,Motion Carried,
<br />Application of G.Casaretto for a permit to hold a 12 o'clock dance on Saturday evening
<br />June 5th.1920 was on motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee McNulty same be granted.
<br />Moved by Trustee McNulty seconded by Trustee Iti4abie the Clerk be constructed to writso
<br />Kr.Fred Warden,Contractor on New Fire House , that the Board expect him to have lis contradt
<br />on the new fire house completed on time, and if an extention is granted, the Board will
<br />expect him to pay the salary of the Inspector.Motion Carried.
<br />Moved by Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee McNulty, the salary of City Clerk and Dept.
<br />Tax Collector be increased $ 25.00 per month, and salary of Janitor -be increased $ 20:00
<br />same to take effect May 15th*I92O.
<br />Moved by Trustee McNulty,seconded by Trustee Tuchsen we now�jaljourn,Motion Carried.
