A 61 <br />Communication from Mrs.I.C.Drathman regarding the installing of another street light <br />on Elwood Street,between Brewster Avenue and James Street,was on motion of Trustee Mabie, <br />seconded by Trustee Tuchsen,same be referred to I•,Iarshall C.L.Co.11ineg to iteport•at next <br />n <br />meeting,liotion Carried. <br />Application of M.O'Toole for a permit for a three o'clock dance in Forester's Hall was <br />on motion of Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee McNulty,said application be referred to <br />Trustee Idabie,to report on at next meeting,I4otion Carried. <br />Application of the Srgastika Club for a permit to hold a three o'clock dance in Forester's <br />Hall Saturday night July IOth.1920,was on motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee <br />McNulty,same be granted. <br />Application of Morvin Grove No.52 Order of Druids for a permit to hold a dance in Forester <br />Hall July 3rd.1920;was on motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee McIfulty,said permit <br />be granted from 8 o'clock.P.M. to 3 o'clock A.M.Motion Carried. <br />Application of Court Madrone Assn.for a permit to hold a three o'clock dance in Forester's- <br />Hall <br />orester's <br />Hall Saturdsy evening Juljr 17th.1920 was granted on motion of Trustee Mabie seconded by <br />Trustee McNulty. <br />Application of G.Casaretto for a permit to hold a I2 o'clock dance on Saturday evening <br />July 3rd.1920 was granted on motion of Trustee Mabie,secinded by Trustee McNulty. <br />On motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee McNulty,Trustee Kreiss be granted a <br />leave of absent igor thirty days from July 3rd.1920 to leave the State,Motion Carried. <br />Trustee Mabie offers the Following Ordinance No.299 and moves its Introduction, <br />Trustee Tuchsen sec6nds the motion. <br />ORDINANCE NO.209. <br />An Ordinance Providing for the incurring of Bonded Indebtedness by the Tose of Redwood <br />City,County of San Mateo,State of California,in the sum of twenty-five thousand($25,000.00 <br />dollars,Gold Coin of the United States of America to Pay the Cost of Certain Public <br />Municipal Improvements in and for said Town, and Providing for the Issuance of Bonds of <br />said Town Evidencing such Indebtedness. <br />Moved by Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee Mabie, the Supt,of Streets be instructed <br />to purchase the material for the approach of the Fire House, and make arrangements for the <br />laying of same,Motion Carried. <br />On motion of Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee McNulty, the City Engineer act in <br />conjunction with the City Attorney to procure easments south and east of Vera Ave and El <br />Camino Real for drainage for that district,.said easment to be for three years,Motion <br />Carried. <br />Moved by Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee McNulty,it be the sense of this Board as <br />favoring a fair and adequate salaries for school teachers of San I,?ateo County,Motion <br />Carried. <br />On motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee Tuchsen, the City Attorney be instructed <br />to draw up an Ordinance providing and regulating exits for theatres and other places of <br />public gatherings,Motion Carried: <br />Trustee Tuchsen offers the following Ordinance No.2I0 and moves its introduction,Trustee <br />Mabie seconds the Motion, <br />Ordinance NO.2IO. <br />ORDINANCE NO.220. <br />An ORDINANCE REGULATING LICENCE TO DO BUSINESS IN THE TOWN OF REDWOOD CITY. 1 <br />MOVED by Trustee McNulty,seconded by Trustee llabie,we do now adjourn to <br />Monday,June 28th.1920 at 8 o'clock P.IS.
