212 <br />NOTICE is hereby given that all persons interested and objecting to the closing and <br />vacating of said portions of Laurel Street hereinbefore herein described, are hereby <br />notified to file their objections in writing,in the office of and with the Clerk of the <br />Town of Redwood City, as Clerk of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City,as <br />required by law. <br />The Superintendent of Streets of said Town of Redwood City,is hereby ordered and <br />"i <br />directed to immediately cause to be conspicuously posted on all frontages of those portions <br />of Laurel street proposed to be closed and vacated,notices of the passage of this Resolution. <br />of Intention No.D-2 in the manner and for the period required by law, and also to cause a <br />notice similar in substance to be published in the Redwood City Standard,for the period <br />required by law. <br />The Redwood City Standard, a weekly newspaper of general circulation published,printed <br />and circulated in said Tovm of Redwood City,(there being no daily or semi-weekly newspaper <br />in said Town),is hereby designated as the newspaper in which to publish the hotice of the <br />Street Superintendent of the passage of this Resolution of Intention No.D-2,in relation <br />to the closing and vacating as a public street and highway of the hereinbefore described <br />portions of Laurel Street in said Town. of R@dwood City. <br />And said Board of Trustees does hereby determine and declare that it is unnecessary to <br />levy any assessment to provide for the work of closing and vacating the hereinbefore <br />described portions of Laurel Street in said Town. of Redwood City. <br />The work of closing herein described shall be done in pursuance of and in conformity <br />r. <br />with that certain Act of the Legislature of the State of California,entitled,"An Act to <br />provide for laying out,opening,extending,widening,straightening , of closing up in whole <br />or in part any street,square,lane,alley,court or place within municipalities,and to condemn <br />and acquire any and all land and priperty necessary or convenient for that purpose". <br />Y <br />approved 1,,4arch 6th.1889. and found in the Statutes of California for 1889 at page 70, and <br />all amendments thereto. <br />Passed and adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City at a regular <br />meeting of said Board held on the 16th.day of August,1920,by the following vote; <br />Ayes and in favor of the passage of the foregoing Resolutm.on of Intention No.D-2-Trustees, <br />Carl g.Mabie,Geo.VI.I:IcNulty,I1.E.Ryan, <br />-------------------------------------------- <br />Noes and against the passage of the forego±ng Resolution No.Dr2 Trustees, <br />None. <br />--------------------------------------- --------------------------------- <br />Absent,Trustees,H.C.Tuchsen,Geo.A.Mceiss. <br />TSI.
